It’s Japanese group but they debut with Korean album and they will promote in Korea with this album. I think after they will do Japanese debut too. Also pre debut dance content was in Korean too

Although So Geon is Korean he was raised in Japan since young so it's not like he fully understands Korean (you can see it in one of the episodes of Club Nexz) Anyways I think some people said that Nexz will be active in Korea and Japan. Since they've also been practicing their Korean skills and also released their debut in that language+their pre debut Performance Video of Miracle in both languages, I wouldn't say that they're jpop.

this sound is kinda new to jype groups, no one has done it before and the closest was got7 but its more elevated and modernised yeah this concept is more similar to sm groups esp riize and nct

They're not Jpop they're a Global group and they just operate like a Kpop group. They only speak korean to each other, everything is in Korean they live in Korea, etc. All kpop groups promote in japan so that doesn't make anything Jpop Name is pronounced Next(G) as it stands for Next generation, the Z is stylized :)
