To streamline the process I built three shocks ahead of time :D Follow along with me as I complete the set of 4 NERD Dampers & Spring Retainers for the Yokomo SLF Big Bore shocks! You can join me step by step for a point of view install guide on how to install these parts into your shocks. Always be sure to take your time and don't be afraid to start over if something goes wrong. I really like the way the functionality of the completed assembly works! :D Shoutout to Joe Z of Team Strickly Sidewayz for lending me his car letting build his new parts :D Enjoy the video!

Put the bladder on first then thread the cap on your oil level will be perfect every time and you can verify its free of bubbles

I have also done this method and sometimes it still does not work out. I've found certain shocks require that method of putting the bladder on the shock body first then cap only where as the Yokomo Big Bores I can do either can see similar results. The latest version Yokomo Big Bores tho seems to bleed themselves perfectly almost everytime no matter which way i install the bladders :D

What spring that you guys using on the Nerd dampers? I knew you mentioned Reve d spring. What’s better go for shorter or longer spring? And soft or hard for MC1 ? Thank you 🙏

The spring in the video is the Reve-D RD-006RS "Blue". Most MC-1's i setup use a softer spring. Generally I use a medium to short length spring in my tunes.

Out of curiosity where did you find the gold hex ball that’s on the shock rod end in the tin at the beginning of the video?

I remember either mentioning it in the video or typing in the description. It's a 5mm ball nut, can be obtained from Tamiya or many other manufacturers.
