This album is so dope!! Wait until yal hear his hype tracks! You guys will probably be surprised. 👍🏾 3 of his songs off this album have been used on espn commercials for the nfl and college football season. Including in the Super Bowl. Most people don’t know who NF is even tho his music is on commercials as hype tracks. Great Reaction!!

I agree with you that the feelings of hating yourself never truly go away completely. I think we all have hardwired reactions to circumstances and feelings that we revert back to when things are hard. After years of not feeling good enough I am learning that the only self worth that you can fail at is acceptance from God. I feel like that has made it 1,000 times easier to combat those thoughts but I still have to prepare myself for when the my come back because I know they will at some point

I see a lot of comments saying NF is talking to himself in a mirror and others say he is talking to his fans. My thing is, NF has a way of talking about more than one thing or aspect when he does these types of verses. I'm more than positive he is talking about both. When you look into a mirror, is there not a background? Could he not be talking to him and his fans by looking through the Mirror? Just my thoughts

I have learned to hate myself more with all the bad things happened to me, lost my mother and brother to suicide and wife cheating on me, my self hate end depression rules me now,,, his music pulls me away from the edge, I can't lie the edge is sexy now

Gotta feel like he was rejected by his mom. Even though as an adult you know it wasn't like that. Its something you accepted as truth when you were very young. That makes you continually struggle with your self worth.

You can't change yourself because you are human. NF knows this all too well. However, he is also a Christian and he knows that only God can truly change you and take away those cravings if he chooses. So his Christianity is another part that he's struggling with. Like most Christians, he can't fully give it to God.
