Lost in the moment and changes are so similar lyric wise. In both he speaks of how he knows what needs to be done but he can't. Like maybe he's grown some as the emotions differ a bit in the songs but it's the same message. This is why the expectation, from some fans and other reactors, of his new music to be completely different or even less dark or not dark at all is quite unrealistic and insensitive. Lost in the moment was so long ago. If he's writing almost the same lines in both songs about change, how is it realistic that his mental state will drastically change simply because people want something different? Like they love how 'real' he is but it becomes a problem if him or another artist is real for too long. Are we listening to his music for ourselves or really diving in and trying to understand that the man is crying out for help constantly and that it doesn't hurt to be patient and stop treating the man like a juke box. Sorry for the rant but I've been thinking about Lost in the Moment and how mental health isn't something that has a specific timeline to recover, yet people treat is as such.

I think it was in an interview that Nate said that he likes releasing records the old school way. Basically, he really likes putting out entire albums once rather than single singles like every 2 months. So while he may release some songs as a single a few feeks before the next album (as he has done so far), I don't think LOST is gonna be a stand-alone single, but rather either an entire album or the main track off the next album.

It's funny, because I keep everything within myself. Feelings all of the same things he is saying, people around me disappearing, or we just don't click anymore because I'm just... not myself anymore. Even family other than my mother is on my side. But I can't say these things in my head because I'm afraid. And to be honest, because I am a coward, all I will ever know is loneliness and depression. Sometimes I wonder if I will always be like this but it's been hiding within my mind for years. I kinda just don't care anymore because I can't get rid of it. I don't know. It's almost like I don't wanna try anymore. Life ends the same way and what's the point of having fun, when the world is falling apart. At least for me. Life just doesn't mean the same since I was a kid. Even though I didn't have much of a life, all I have ever known is the aggressions of others, greed, envy. All the other things never existed. If that was the case I'd rather not have existed. Why do people keep saying life is a gift if it gets taken back? But no one seem to care, so... Thank you for these reactions. NF is my therapy and watching these help feel like I'm not alone no matter how alone I really feel.

Thats heavy my dude, and life gets overwhelming at times for sure, but you can't be so rough on yourself. Even if no one has your back you gotta work on holding yourself up, I know it might feel like darkness all around you at times and things might feel more difficult than is possible to handle but if you push and get through it you'll come out the other end stronger than you can ever imagine! Being surrounded by negativity is never easy and really does change the way we think and act, I'm glad the NF music helps and that you're enjoying the reactions, but if i could make a recommendation, just blast positivity in your ears 24/7 man. Look up GaryVee if you dont know him, check out his instagram, his podcast, just a superr positive dude, has helped me to think differently for sure, and just listen to that positive shit all day. Stay strong bro, you're never alone!
