I remember laying on the floor in my room crying listening to this song because I was deep in drug use and couldn’t recognize myself anymore. I literally felt every word he was saying. It’s been a long process but needless to say I’m in recovery and NF’s music has honestly saved my life.

Man I just love seeing you go through this. Even though you think NF doesn't have a lot of attention, I assure you that he has a whole army if folks supporting him. I hope that he changes your life the way he changed mine. I struggled with major depressive disorder, and anxiety. NF I'd the only thing that helped me. You might wonder why that is since his music is so heavy, but thats the reason why. He helped me realize that I'm not the only one who feels alone. This makes me feel better knowing that you can be messed up, really messed up, but if you push through the fear you can get what you want!

This is still my favorite NF song, as an empath I relate to this song in various ways. 1. Surviving an abusive relationship (so relate to this feeling that is given in this song, big time). 2. As an empath I have exhausted certain emotions that when I’ve reached that point I can’t feel or am temporarily numb to that specific emotion until I stop self-protecting due to damage that emotion has caused. I've been an NF fan since Madden 2015 Intro 1 was on it and immediately became hooked! This song specifically hits me hard everytime and actually created a New Years Resolution for me. I've dealt with a lot of death in my life. My Jr year in high school I went too too many funerals i stopped counting once i was at the 15th and I became numb to it in a way and blocked it out. Hearing this song made me realize how paralyzed emotionally I truly was so 5 years ago I worked on opening myself up emotionally and it was the hardest journey I've had to push through mentally but well worth it. I learned so much about myself and how to connect truly with people.

I pretty much comment the same thing every time somebody reacts to this song. I found nf's music when I was at my darkest place in life. I was struggling with drug use, mental health problems, and no support system. Nobody understood what I was going through but this song vividly described exactly how I was feeling. Instead of trying to use my words I would just direct my friends and family to this song and it helped them to see the darkness that I was in.
