In a few of his songs, he's referred to his career as a "flight", telling people to either get on or off his flight depending on whether or not their feeling his music. I always saw this video as a manifestation of that idea. You see rappers on private planes living the life, but NF was like nah tear all that shit up. He's up there alone with broken seats and busted out windows, and flying the plane (his career) himself. Great reaction btw. Also even though this song isn't exactly on the journey, you needed this video to get the full effect from Outro, when you get to it.

I'm like 9 months late but I think my mind just hit a point where it realised what the plane means. He is flying himself to the top, he is soaring to success. No one is piloting him to success. The damage inside may represent his inner damage. The chainsaw and knife may represent the regrets and sorry and his memories that damage him daily.
