Ok so now I have to explain why I don’t think it’s a diss lol. To me, There’s a difference between a diss and an acknowledgement in a competitive field. Em did mention NF in the ringer but if em really wanted to diss, we would get s full diss like normal. Nate is acknowledging ems lyric by referencing slim throughout. But if this is a “diss” it’s already the softest of all time and we don’t know the kind of diss rapper NF is, but we all know ems track record and one line in a 5 min song is NOT a diss.

Sydney Brown I think that’s why he did it this way. This song is a very similar song to the ringer in flows and that’s the one em said something to him. Again I don’t think he dissed but he definitely showed who he was and what he can do and I think this is possibly the most lyrically talented song in years. I completely agree with you. Yeah you could super stretch some lines into thinking it could be a diss. But it just ain't. He's just generally speaking about the game. I wish people would stop trying to create beef. I do however think Em's "N EFFING RECOVERY CLONE OF ME" was a direct shot at NF, but that's what Em does! And I love NF, but he knows better than to go after Em. He's not ready for that! But an AMAZING SONG, and people should be talking about that and stop trying to fabricate beef. Nice reaction Fam!

When he says take the t&a out not only does it spell em t&a is used to describe something that's mature (tits and asses) so basically take away the the T&A from em it leaves nf (since he doesn't cuss) Im surprised no one has caught this yet. ALso the gun jammin is not a generic line since eminem released killshot. "pushing forward see I can't ignore it", I cant ignore it referring to eminems diss on the ringer. Put my name on your hitlist is nf saying if you ever decide to take it further than subliminals and step to me you'll get thre real smoke. Also eminem does have a little cocky half smile which he uses rarely. shoot you out of the sky refers to eminems kamikaze plane, and the punchline refers to his ringer subliminal diss which nf feels did not land. continuing on to the gun jamming part nf is saying if he tries to release a kill shot on him his gun will jam. He is also going at other people as well like critics but he definitely is taking subliminals at eminem. hes responding subliminals with subliminals how else should he respond?

It would probably a good thing if someone truly talented (NF seems pretty talented) were to dis Eminem. The goodness would vary depending on how seriously Eminem took the dis. I'd really be interested in hearing a new Eminem dis crafted carefully, and taken seriously, by Eminem. I want to hear that real skill/talent from Eminem again. Half of Kamikaze showed some serious promise, like he was actually beng serious about setting people straight. I want more of that side of Eminem. It's going to take someone with real talent (possibly NF) to bring the real effort out of Eminem.

I'm torn. I didn't fully think that Em dissed NF in the first place. I also don't think this is a diss towards Em, it may be a nod towards Em from NF, but not a diss. If NF was to diss someone, especially Em, he would come out and say it so there was no question or speculation. If anything, this was a well-played way for NF to use words in this song to cause question, which then causes more buzz about his song and his album.
