For NF: He puts his thoughts out there and writes them in his raps (puts them into “hyperspeed”) However once he’s hit his peak in popularity, and the fame he had is gone, at least he took that leap (took that chance). I l o v e his 4th album. To pick just a few songs to react to feels like a monumental task. I don't know how you do it. They're all a part of this new chapter and they're all goooood! And I love how he switches it up, from a radio friendly song with a catchy hook (Time), to songs like this one. There's enough for everybody! For me, "Nate" is by far the culmination of his journey up to this point. Because: 1) "Let you down" preceeded it (btw ,you haven't reacted to it yet, Ernest) and I like where he took the conversation, not only with the things he struggled at the time but also with the guilt that came after. 2) NF took it to the next level after already touching upon it. It's more or less the same premise BUT it's told as if the person talking about it is in a different age category looking back at different times in their past, therefore a fresh perspective. Considering all of the above, if I ever see you doing a "Let you down" vs. "Nate" breakdown/ analysis/ reaction, I'd just think I've reached nirvana. Thanks for the awesome content, Ernest.
