Ehhhh, don't get to ahead of yourself just yet. It's only been 2 weeks (the video is from week 2. (It's Sunday, the end of week 3 now, lol.) But, we still have a lonng season ahead of us. You'll have to wait until like week 7-8 to find out if the refs are gunna be better than last year. That's around the time the refs tend to start getting lazy and make or miss bad calls. Idk if it's because the NFL season has been in motion for a few weeks already and they just don't care anymore and start to get over it and quit paying attention. Or if it's because they just get to comfortable and try to control and determine the outcome of the game for whatever reason. But, regardless.. well find out around week 7-8 if the refs are getting better or worse from last year. That's around the time you can start making pretty solid predictions of how the rest of the season will go, lmfao.

Idk seems like the right call to me. The ball traveled forward 10 yards down the field. If a Saints player caught it in the air that’s going to be +10 yards passing for Carr and not a fumble / fumble recovery for the receiver.

Was a relatively “good” week for refs. There were just a few roughing the passer, what’s a miracle. But that titans’ fumble denied was awkward. I don’t know why stop the play if you have replays to change decision

They even state it in the video "Is Derik Carr pushing a loose ball forward" If simply hitting it forward disqualifies it as a fumble, then there is no such thing as a forward fumble. You can't control the ball with the heel of your hand, matter of fact if that's your primary argument, then it was without a doubt loose.

I’m a Packers fan that had zero rooting interest in the game (just watched it because it was on TV) and I didn’t think it was a trip either. To me, it just looked like the blocker missed and the defender needing to do something desperate, leaped through the leg of the blocker that went by him. It certainly didn’t seem like an “intentional leg whip,” it just seemed like both the blocker and defender leaped and they both missed.

It's because as soon as you swing your leg and hit an opposing players leg that causes a fall the call is tripping. Yes the Bills player is jumping however you'll see the Jets players leg swing and alter the Bills player ability to keep his legs under himself. Granted I think the earlier OPI on Diggs in regulation against Gardner was a much worse call that even Peyton, Eli, and Fitzpatrick all said was a bogus call.

The placement at the 1 is correct. It's that the Panthers cannot gain an advantage by their foul -- both teams have enforceable 15 yard penalties, so both are in fact enforced for 15 yards. They cancel each other out, but do not offset. 1st down at the spot.

From what I understand it's not the in-game refs that do reviews but some dude in New York. In seasons past it was Al Riveron who got nearly every pass interference challenge wrong on purpose because he didn't like it being challengeable.

Lambs/Niners were bad as well. They called Greenlaw for a personal foul for breathing over the player when he made a tackle. They also picked up a flag against the Niners saying the QB was outstanding the pocket when contact happened. Stafford was clearly in the pocket. I've noticed more non-male refs making these calls. The first one was a correct no call, that was not a leg whip or a tripping attempt. If you think it was, then you are worse than the refs in some of the other clips. Not sure what the issue is with the low hit on Mac Jones. That was the correct call with how the rules are written. If Jones doesn’t do that little hop before contact, he is probably out for a minimum of a few weeks or season like Rodgers. The Greenlaw coverage was legal, the feet clearly got tangled up which is not a foul. Maybe these three fall under the controversial part? Because they were all the correct call. To me correct calls are not controversial. The player that cheap spotted Jakobi Meyer near the end of the Raiders game was controversial. Personally I think he needs to be kicked out of the league. We don’t need thugs like that out on the field.

How was every single referee and executive officiating the game remotely for that Derek Carr incomplete pass not immediately fired after the game? I understand that making decisions in the heat of the moment is difficult and referee should be given a wide lee way and benefit of the doubt... But when they see in slow motion that the call they made is wrong, and then purposely uphold the wrong call simply so they don't have to admit they're wrong, that needs to be an immediate punishment.

Coming from a bills fan, it wasn’t tripping, the jets player was trying to make a block in doing so he dove, his intent wasn’t to trip him, also the bills player pushed him to the ground causing the jets player to lose momentum.
