NFL Hall of Famer and NFL Network Analyst Deion Sanders talks to the Wall Street Journal "Business of Celebrity" host Lee Hawkins about how he has managed his career successfully over the years and gives exclusive insights on how he worked to ensure that his divorce from ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, impact his brand and business. Sanders, who spoke to the WSJ as part of the Pepsi NFL Anthems Kickoff Eve, talks about how he has diversified his career, built a large social media following on Twitter, and the youthful mistakes of younger NFL players and how they can overcome their financial woes and other problems.

I really like Deion. First and foremost, the dude has a lot of talent, he's a gifted athlete. Second of all, he has a winsome personality ... outgoing, articulate, and knowledgeable. While some may focus just on the flash-and-dash, he devotes himself to his work and his career: "Perfecting, before your package." Love it!

He's top ten. Barry isn't anymore. It gets harder every year and rings matter. Deion has two and he played -six-positions: inside, out corner, safety, punt, kick return and receiver. He's the most diverse player of the second half of the 20th century. Plus, he permanently shifted the power in the NFL which very few people can say.

Lemme break it down for you: If you get married or have a kid with a female, she no longer has to make any effort to make the relationship work. You are now stuck in a situation where the courts say either you make her happy or she will take the fruits of your entire lifetime of achievements. Hence, a woman's behavior in a marraige eventually reflects this attitude making it impossible for a relationship to work. And don't you dare put your hands on her like she does to you.

Well...I think he certainly gives a great example in Chad Johnson's situation in terms of how things could've gone so...he got out as graciously as he could while the gettin was good and despite Pilar's rampant, rachid outbursts about her husband, which didn't imply she wanted to work things out. I mean yes...I was surprised and disappointed about his divorce because they really seemed into each other and had been married for 12 years or so. But....
@AmateurAthleteAllDay
@AmateurAthleteAllDay Жыл бұрын
I don’t think it was necessary to name drop Chad. The interviewer did not ask him about anyone else but himself and he diverted to a what he considered, a worst situation. That was childish. For example I’m fat but dang look at so in so, I could be as fat as her…..Very childish. Never mind the other person has their own cross to carry.

I see what you mean...especially because a woman can lie or manipulate about birth control, etc, to entrap the man financially. But honestly, I think you'd get further with your point if you sounded less hateful. Kind of like if I was describing someone I disliked and dropped a racial slur. You would probably think less of my argument, even if you still understood where I was coming from. (just making a comparison)
