Didn't seem like you guys really paid attention to the cowboys. Gallup sucked last year and he retired. Tyron Smith was always hurt. The center was a jag. Pollard was a jag. I think your take on the cowboys was very superficial..

Everyone loves Fields with the run game for the Steelers but I feel like we are discounting how truly atrocious he is at actually passing the ball. He’s a lot closer to Ridder as a passer than he is to Russ. It’s not starting QB material. Maybe that can somehow magically improve but if it doesn’t I doubt he gets the nod over Russ who still has average starting level QB passing ability. Fields is far below that. Holds onto the ball for 3+ seconds every play, isn’t particularly accurate, his pocket presence sucks, and he just misses open reads and turns down open windows like all the time. If you want to maximize his running use him as a kick returner or RB/wildcat QB. Maybe see if he can catch.
