Hey Adam, a teaching moment. What does KC shaded to the Under mean? Also, you said the Jets are a soft 3. Does that mean most of the books are 3,5 and a couple are 3?

Shaded to the Under means the payout odds are lower on the Under side, typically meaning more likely to win this side and losing some juice to the books from that bet.

References like expensive, cheap, shaded are all relative to key books on the board being higher or lower than a 'flat" -110. Chiefs game shaded to the under would mean key books have the total with the under priced at -115/-120 ect. Cheap 3 on the Jets means key books have Jets -3 (-105, EV).

Soft, Cheap, and Shaded are really important concepts to understand. Especially making plays on the cheap and soft odds can really boost the ROI. Odds north of 110 can have the opposite effect for sure.
