Great podcast as always, but not sure why the cameras were so zoomed in 😅

Really looking forward to Bucs and lions, its gonna be a close game that is decided by the defense.

Quick suggestion about listener "calls". Set up an email address so people can record a voice memo on their phone and email it in. It provides better audio quality then calling in on the phone.

Mays does great with pulling info and setting the foundation for a real football guy. It’s more balanced yet dynamic. This feels a bit linear. I miss Nate :(

Cousins has shown in practice and in week 1 that he can move, at least about as well as he was before. Looked like a scheme issue to me. Lots of videos of him repping play action in practice this week have come out.

Don’t forget they get DJ Reader back this week, big part of building a solid defense.

I do not understand the optimism about the eagles, the defense performed... just kinda poorly? which I guess is an improvement, Hurts tried to turn the ball over 5 times and had more picks than completions to the middle of the field. Unless you think Kellen Moore is Kyle Shanahan why are we projecting this elite offensive upside when Jalen seems unable to play the clean, on time football that turns a schematic/weapon advantage into consistent production, and doesn't seem to have the relevant athleticism to be a difference maker with his legs?

Hmmm well let’s see, they turned the ball over 3 times and fumbled on the 1 and settled for 3 when they easily could’ve scored another td there and they still scored 34 points. If you don’t see how an offense headlined by an pro bowler at pretty much every position is optimistic then idk what to tell you

Baker Mayfield lost by over a touchdown to a Lions defense That was starting Cam Sutton, Kindle Vildor, Benito Jones... Now its Carlton Davis, Terrion Arnold, and DJ Reader playing those positions lol

Lol I knew the 35+ QBs coming off Achilles would probably at least be rusty! People made me feel like I was crazy for even suggesting Rodgers might have a slower start . I don't understand why some of you didn't see it that way. Lol too funny

Call-in segments...? Always feels a bit uncomfortable as a listener, in my opinion - disquieting. If you receive an interesting argument, I'd like to hear it, but I'd rather hear it read out by familiar presenters who I trust to be concise, thoughtful, articulate, pleasant, not reactionary...
