That last INT had nothing to do with good defense was literally just Hurts throwing it to a Jets defender. Instead of just eating the sack and forcing the Jets to have to drive downfield with like 1:10 left with no timeouts. Force Wilson to try and beat you. While the Browns on the other hand completely dismantled the 49ers offense.

I have been reading comment after comment about how the Dolphins haven't beaten anybody. I suppose going by the W-L record one could say that is correct. However if you look at the games yesterday, "Anybody" teams were beaten by "Nobody" teams. Eagles lost to Jets, 49ers lost to Browns and for most of the game last night the Giants made the superpowered Bills--who destroyed Miami--look surprisingly average. Miami beat the Giants decisively the weak before. What this says to me is that a win in the NFL is a damn win. It doesn't matter who the hell you are playing or what they did the week before. The games are not played on paper with numbers, they are played on the field with professional athletes.

Browns got lucky, but good teams get lucky once and awhile. The Browns defense suffocated the Niner offense pretty much after that opening drive. Put the team in position to win with field goals.

The Chiefs didn’t fall off after 2018 - the league changed how they defended Patrick Mahomes. They adjusted and still won the Super Bowl the following year, struggled with Tyreek in 2021, and won it all again in 2022. We’ll see how long the Dolphins can keep it up, and how the league adapts to slow them down.
