The connection that Rodgers forms with Davante on the Jets was a huge reason for them winning this football game. Guys like Solomon Thomas earned a sack, Garrett Wilson made plays and Aaron Rodgers himself still uses the legs he has to beat a lot of other people in a foot race. This was a matchup where I enjoyed what Mac Jones did for Jacksonville. He took complete command of their offense without Lawrence, made sensational throws in the pocket, and escaped when Jaguars needed first downs. The combination of Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr was quite the package this past Sunday too. Both of them carried their team well by either scoring or making multiple catches. And the best part is their receiving yards totals were pretty outstanding. Aaron Rodgers to me will be one of the goats. The reason why is because in those two or three instances where he took off earning huge yards from scrimmage Rodgers made it look super easy. He hasn't really aged because his all around game is still highly effective. What he and Russell Wilson still do in their careers is no shock to me. That is why Seattle and Green Bay will forever be legendary franchises. Great win Jets and wonderful job Jaguars. One of the most exciting Week 15 games of 2024 regular season. Trevor Lawrence get healthy. No matter what teams Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson play for their always going to be a superstar. Two of the best quarterbacks in their generations.
