Sam Howell is the real deal. He's tough and he's quick. This guy is the gift to Washington Commanders organization with new ownership. He was basically RPO QB in North Carolina but he's quickly adjusting to the NFL system and it proves that he is very smart. The Washington Redskins are back. If you're a commander/redskins fan, you gotta be excited about this QB and the rest of the team.

he can throw it. he can make plays on the run. *BUT* every week i see the same problem - this guy takes a TON of sacks and most of them that I see in the moment are *HIS* fault - not anybody else's. this is NOT a little problem. he's on pace for something like 100 sacks which is absolutely absurd and its HIS problem. and apparently it was his problem in college, too. And 6 games in now, he isnt getting ANY better at it. if he cant improve this area DRASTICALLY ----- it *WILL* end his career as a starting NFL QB QUICKLY. He'll be a bench warmer. All the other really good stuff that he has shown will get ERASED if he cant solve HIS problem of taking sacks. Its NOT an o-line problem either.....its HIS problem. (their o-line is bad but this problem is his regardless of the oline). this continues to be his BIG problem that isnt getting better. (over 200 yards of sacks ----that's F- grade )

I swear with this game. It was not what any of us expected. The 2-point conversion was a joke, delay of game is unacceptable especially when you are close to the in zone, and that play call on 3rd and Goal in 4th quarter is what messed us up with the Commanders Pick. We would’ve literally gotten a TD, 2-point conversion, played defense to get the ball and the going for FG. Ridiculous.

McLaurin had 4 or 5 catches in the 1st quarter and finished with 6 for the game, wtf? How can you forget about the best receiver on the team? That getting up a few points and just trying to hold on normally gets Washington beat and it was very close today but luckily were the offense just did nothing basically the entire 2nd half the defense came up with 2 huge interceptions. Robinson jr gets 9 or 10 carries a week, Rivera always talking about a run game but you are never going to have a run game with your rb1 carrying the ball 10 or less times a game. Players did what they do and got the win though even with all the bad coaching decisions/ play calling. Lets Go Washington 🏈

I am still not sure how the DB cradled the ball and the WR was behind him, but they both caught the ball. Looks more like the WR was trying to take the ball from the DB. If the ball was in the middle of them, I'd give you share possession, but not if the DB is between the ball and the WR. (see 9:05 on the video)

Man as a falcons fan I can sadly say(in my opinion) that the head coach kinda choked play calling that 2nd INT but that was still all Ridder & that last Int was all Desmond… I hate that bc he still threw for 300+ yards like last game which was his first ever 300 yard game in the NFL, so he still is getting better but against the Texans he was GREAT during that mini comeback the Falcons had when they got the win, but I have 0 clue what happened yesterday.. Coach Smith’s reaction to Desmond’s 2nd Int w/ his hands on his head in absolute disbelief basically sums up Sunday’s game sadly. I hope we can pick it up nxt week against Mayfield & the Bucs

Chase needs to wrap up he keeps missing easy sacks and gives up the edge way too much. The guy is an elite athlete but becomes a liability at times.

Howell can play but takes way too many sacks. Its not all on the o-line. That said, defense played well today for the most part. They can be a barely-make-the-playoffs kind of team this year with a little luck. Not a super bowl contender by any means.

It's not all on the line, but Howell has played only 7 games. Think about that. He's showing promise, but needs to work on a quicker release. I truly believe he will only go up ... and hopefully stay up more

Highly disappointing loss for atlanta. They lost this game because they beat themselves. A lot of undisciplined actions offensively. There is no excuse for constantly not being able to get the snap in time. That 2nd and goal from the 2 ended up being an int in the endzone when clearly that was a golden opportunity to tie the game up. The defense even helped by giving opportunity after opportunity to give the offense another chance and they still failed. Ridder threw 3 ints and they were all costly ones. The decision making wasn’t great. These home games you need to take advantage of and atlanta didn’t today. Now you go on the road to tampa next week in a highly important division game to try to climb to the top of the division. Lot of things to work on we need to bounce back next week. #RiseUp
