Football was at its peak in the 2000’s. The athleticism was on par with today’s athletes, but the toughness from the previous generations was still there. Hitting was still allowed and it was an actually fun product to watch each week. And before all the people come flooding in about head injuries, mf’ers we/they signed up for this game! I’m a professional boxer. I know the risks of it. I WANTED to do it. These men WANTED to play this game and knew the risks. It’s why everyone can’t play football. It’s what made these men great.
