John Hansmeyer Yep he is real classy. U can especially tell in this game. There was times during kickoffs and returns when things got chippy with Atlanta when the pats were down that the patriots seem like they were going to brawl. But Matt kept the unit calm and cool headed which avoided penalties that could've cost us. That is why the Patriots are the Greatest Franchise and team. U saw with seattle and how they showed their true colors and picked a fight when losing. Patriots have leaders on the field for all three phases of the game. Reasons why Belichick is the GOAT at coaching.

It can't be helped though. He was consider a bust and not as good as his brother Kyle Long (who play for the bears...ouch), but NE made him a force to be reckon with. Those two holding calls he put on Mathews change the game.

Consider he was picked Second overall, you could consider him a bust (His lone accomplishment before this season was All-NFL rookie team). His brother Kyle, picked 5 years after him (at pick 20), has already been to 3 pro bowls and a second team all-pro
@spwb2k7 жыл бұрын
i always liked CLong and am happy for his (and Amendola's and Illini Mike's) success, but Long underperformed as a #2 overall pick who did not make his team better & never played in a pro bowl. Looked at as a solid vet near the top of Journeyman heap, he's not a bust.
@SavageSPK7 жыл бұрын
Long was a terror in St. Luis and was hurt the last 2 years there. You're wrong.. He had 50 sacks in his first 6 seasons. This was his first healthy year in years. He was selected to 4 Pro Bowls by the way. Seasons of 8.5, 11.5, 13.5, 8.5 sacks.. You're clueless. He has played ALL OVER the defensive side of the ball as well, just like this year for NE> Stats are for losers. He's a WORLD CHAMPION!

I have to admit.....I am a HUGE Howie Long fan. As a woman I've always found him EXTREMELY attractive and an awesome football player. So I was just looking through videos related to the Super Bowl Game. And I loved seeing this interview. At the 03:10 mark I got a little teary-eyed' listening to Howie talk about his son and seeing the interaction between the two. It really is a blessing to have loving, supportive parents who help guide you through life and that you can lean on when things aren't going well. And when you have those 'victories' in life you still have your parents around to celebrate the good times with you. And last, but not least, congrats to Chris on finally getting his ring.
