One of the biggest mistakes the Patriots made was dealing Mac Jones to the Jaguars. He could of been fixed. Like a legendary coach once said. If I see him do it once, I can coach him up to do it all the time. Mac won 10 games for us his Rookie year. It would be like having 2 starters. Which is what you need in todays NFL Injuries are fact in football. You can't have your season disappear because your quarterback got hurt. And the back up is exactly that. A back up. Not a starter. The difference is night and day. But we got Milton. Should try him out with Hail Marys.

Why did Kraft allow Jerod to coach 5 years without allowing him to call a defensive game ? Jerod is still a coach in training by his own admission.

I never understood the drama of Atlanta picking Penix. Especially with the comments about teams bringing in rookies and not giving them the chance to learn before getting on the field. The Pats and Falcons got it right.

As bad as we are right now, we can only go up at this point. Even if we have a disappointing season, that only gives us a better draft spot. And of course we will be picking first round Offensive Lineman. 2nd pick for a receiver and 3rd another Offensive Lineman. Maybe even a 4th. With that said. We will be a very dangerous team next year. Can't do worse then bottom of the barrel. We can only go up.

One thing we lost, was the Offensive line Coach. He was the best there ever was. That line that Rodney was talking about, was coached by this guy. I can't remember his name. But it was hard to pronounce. We need another coach like that.

Look, sometimes you have to go against the team with the worst rushing defense in the league, and refuse to give the ball to your running back, who is the best player on your entire offense, so that you can let your QB get murdered behind the worst pass protection in Pats history. starters dont want to play preseason because they dont want to end up like trent green when rodney tore up his knee on a low hit. injuries like that shorten your career and you lose money. a no brainer. not worth the risk just to get in shape

Relaxing atmospheres usually mean mediocre lousy teams. The Pats have probably 2 more ugly seasons & more high drafts before the new coach arrives on the seen. He’ll be a task master a driver and bring discipline. Until then it will be ugly. Right now this is a clown organization run by committee.

So wait, I have to listen to dummies talking about these good, average or crap QBs (Jackson, Baker, Fields, etc) being the reason the teams won, as if wins are a QB stat, but when they are trash the team is the problem? It’s like excuse after excuse. QBs are 1 of 11 guys on the field. Evaluate their performance in isolation and quit w this crap where a trash bag player like fields is being treated like a legit starter when he’s been easily the worst player on the offense.
