Russell Wilson was selected to another Pro Bowl in 2024, doesn’t this means he is still a top 10 QB? He has played in 2 Super Bowls and won 1, has combined Super Bowls passer rating of 116.8 with TD-Int ratio 4-1, has 130 combined wins, he is a 10 X Pro Bowler with 5 legitimate MVP caliber seasons, has > 50K combined passing yards and 377 combined passing TD’s with < 6500 passing attempts, has career TD-Int ratio > 3-1 and a passing rating of ~ 100, has ~ 6K combined rushing yards and 34 rushing TD’s. Russell Wilson has started in 199 regular season and 17 playoff games. Experience, ability to throw accurate deep balls, and glimpses of vintage Russell Wilson this season proves Russell Wilson could still be an elite QB. Russell Wilson’s current resume 2012-2024 (13 seasons) Super Bowl XLVIII Winner 🥇 18-25, 206 yards, TD-Int 2-0 123.1 passer rating 3 rushes for 26 yards 0 turnover, 0 sack Super Bowl XLIX Loss 🥈 12-21, 247 yards, TD-Int 2-1 110.6 passer rating 3 rushes for 39 yards Regular Season record 121-77-1 TD-Int 350-111 TD-Int ratio 3:1 Passing yards 46135 Completion percentage 64.7 Passer rating 99.8 (Top 5) Rushing yards 5462 (Top 5) Rushing touchdowns 31 (Top 5) Playoffs record 9-8 (Top 15) TD-Int 27-12, 2:1 (Top 15) Passing yards 4056 (Top 15) Passer rating 96.8 (Top 15) Rushing yards 527 (Top 5) Rushing touchdowns 3 (Top 15) Super Bowl Appearance X 2, 1 win Pro Bowls X 10 (Top 15) All-Pro X 4 NFL Rookie of The Year (2012) AP Top 5 Offensive Player of The Year X 4 NFL Top 100 selection X 9 still not a MVP Regular Season passing touchdown leader X 1 Regular Season passer rating leader X 1 Playoffs passing touchdown leader X 1 Playoffs passer rating leader X 1 Top 5 passer rating in Super Bowl (s) Top 5 TD% in Super Bowl (s) Top 2 in Super Bowl (s) yards per attempt Top 5 in career passer rating ~ 98.8 Top 5 in career TD:Int ratio > 3:1 Top 12 in career regular season wins 121 -4 wins to move in Top 10 Top 13 in career playoffs wins 9 - 2 wins to move in Top 10 MOST WINS BY A QB IN FIRST 9 SEASONS Only QB > 40,000 passing and > 5,000 rushing yards Joined Peyton Manning as the only QB to record 3000 passing yards in each of their first 10 seasons Third quarterback in NFL history to throw 30 touchdowns in four consecutive seasons FIRST QB TO HAVE FIVE CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITH. 3+ TDs AND 0 INTs BEST 5-GAME STREAK IN NFL HISTORY (19 TDs) Most passing yards in a playoff game by a rookie: 385 Most fourth quarter touchdown passes in a season: 16 Winning record in 10 out of 13 seasons 10 + wins in 12 full seasons Playoffs appearances in 9 out of 13 seasons This resume is better than 50% of QB’s in the HOF. In the 6 seasons following the Legion of Boom, Russell Wilson had W-L-T 58-35-1, TD-Int 186-53, (3) 4 thousands yards passing seasons, 2259 rushing yards, 11 rushing TD’s and led the Seahawks to 4 playoff appearances while putting up MVP caliber statistics. Statically notable years at Seattle: 2015 TD-Int 34-8, 2017 TD-Int 34-11, 2018 TD-Int 35-7, 2019 TD-Int 31-5, 2020 TD-Int 40-13 while competing over 65% of passes and having a QB rating over 100. Russell Wilson’s 2 seasons in Denver: TD-Int 42-19, 618 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, Comp % 63.3, 7 4QC, 7 GWD. Russell Wilson had incompetent Nathaniel Hackett in his 1st year and bigoted Sean Payton in his 2nd year. Wilson’s 2024 season with Steelers: TD-INT 16-5 (3:1), completion % 63.7, 2482 passing yards, 155 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Playoff loss vs Baltimore: TD-Int 2-0, completion % 68.9, passer rating 121.3. Remember he started the season W-L 6-1 before going through the toughest schedule to end the season. Steelers had a terrible offensive line, only one top tier receiver who missed 3 games in the losing stretch and an overrated defense. He was therefore selected for his 10th Pro Bowl.

Justin Fields is a back-up, not a starter, they had to limit the offense with Fields in there because he can't read an NFL defense. In Fields 4 wins he threw 2 TD passes, in those four games, they won those games with defense and special teams, not Fields throwing the ball. As for him developing? He has started 44 games and still can't do the basics. If the Steelers want to compete with Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow? Justin Fields is not the guy, move on.
