When you finish 4 games out of first place…wha, wha. Check back in 3 seasons when you fill out all the holes in your roster. But you guys are definitely on the right track. Maybe you’ll improve quicker if the coach is better than expected, but I thought Vrabell was a hell of a coach. But you couldn’t stick with a heavy run game in today’s NFL, you need to score points. Both Texans RBs have at least had more than 200 carries in a season, Spears has 100 in his 1 year career. Would hardly call a RB coming off of an injury and a RB with 100 career carries a 2 headed monster, though it should scare Titan fans especially with that offensive (causing someone to feel deeply hurt, upset, or angry) line. That being said, if said line can protect Levis, he does have a lot of weapons in the receiving game. Including those 2 RBs, who are really good in the passing game.

Nathan, you’re football knowledge and command of the English language are both above reproach, “Downs haven’t are much from him Either”. Well said. Downs caught like 68 passes as a rookie from a back-up QB, and was great after the catch. The Colts’ weapons are really rounding into shape with him, AD, Pitt and once we get Jelani back into the fold. I think Pierce goes to the bench and only comes in to give guys breathers, as he was only catching 1-2 passes per game. Granson is just 1 of about 3 or 4 package TE that we run specific plays for, but Jelani should be our starter as long as he’s healthy. Go Horse! (Sorry for being a Dick, Nathan, but I thought it was worth a laugh.)

Dean, I hate to keep harping on your mastery of the English language, but that second sentence had me so confused I didn’t know whether I was coming or going. Now, about that first sentence. It’s 2024, why you bringing up what Florio said about the Coach of the Year award three years ago? Florio’s comments must have left some impression on you! What are you, Zach Taylor’s mom? Get OVER IT and move on with your life, or better yet, learn that pesky English. With love, your favorite Colts fan.

Didn't realize Carolina is trying to go all-in to, they added Bryce some weapons so far Adam Thielen, Diontae Johnson, Xavier Legette(1st rd WR ) & Jonathon Brooks(2nd rd RB). Not bad guys, guess we will see if Bryce is legit with a squad around him like that.
@nateriley4067
@nateriley4067 Ай бұрын
This has to be the my favorite comment of the day! Where do I begin with this Tomfoolery? With this level of delusion, how do you make it through the day? Are you only allowed to eat with a spork? Carolina, of all teams, going all in? I think I just peed myself. Old-man Thielen- sure he had a great season last year, because they had absolutely no one else to throw to. But he won’t sneak up on anybody this season. If my team were playing the Panthers, I’d double-team Thielen (I can’t believe I just said that out loud), and make someone else beat me. Diontae Johnson- has potential but always underwhelmed in Pittsburgh. They gave him plenty of opportunities, even when he had a decent QB in Roethlisberger. Now he has a 5’9” ladyboy throwing him the ball. I won’t be holding my breath. Xavier Legette- has potential, slow, but wins contested catches. I won’t rip him too bad. Wait and see. Jonathon Brooks; however, has a torn ACL. Last time I checked, that’s not helpful for running backs. I know he won’t be ready for the start of the season, when will he be ready, week #8? Realistically, this season should be about making sure the knee is stable once he gets healthy and getting accustomed to the NFL and then hit next season running hard. I do think he’s a good to great runner once he’s back to 100%. "Guess we’ll see if Bryce is legit” - I’ll save you some time, he’s not. You guys should have drafted Stroud. But don’t worry, you’ll have the #1 overall draft pick again soon. My best friend is a Panthers fan, so I love giving him shit talk. Hope you know I’m just messing around with ya, honestly, I hope you guys turn things around. Tepper isn’t my favorite owner, I think he fires guys too quickly and doesn’t give coaches or GMs a fair shot. He thinks he can just buy a winner but the NFL doesn’t work like that. Best of luck this season!

Damn straight. The fact that the small markets can compete and win against the Cowboys and NY Giants of the NFL world are what makes football great and baseball/ NBA suck. Some MLB teams start the season and know they don’t have a chance because they have 1/10th the payroll as the large-market teams. Free agency and the salary cap ensures that the dominant teams can only afford to stay great for a couple of seasons, before everyone wants to get paid and leave elsewhere.

To be fair, I really like the Texan’s head coach, but I think in today’s NFL you need an offensive head coach to keep up with the rest of the league. Ryans is great though, he really turned the Texans around in one season. And we’ll have to see what Tennessee has in their new head coach, but Callahan has big shoes to fill. For all the Jags fans, Doug Peterson is a guy, that’s really about all I have to say about him. But I must agree, Steichen is the best. We haven’t seen the best out of him yet, as Steichen was limited in his playcalling with only Minshew under center last year. But this year, the gloves come off as The Prototype is UNLEASHED upon the NFL!!! I sincerely think Steichen’s aggressive playcalling won us a couple of games last year and we also went for it on 4th and short most of the time. It’s no wonder the Colts and the Texans are the class of the AFC South as they are led by the division’s two best head coaches.

The Titans need to get out of the basement of the division before they start demanding respect. Giving a WR2 a massive contract and trading away second round picks for a corner doesn’t make up for the fact that they have just a guy under center and with CJ in the division, it’s gonna take more than the Titans are capable of giving for them to win the division anytime soon.

Thielen just went for 1,000 yards last year and is a great route runner. Legette has great speed and acceleration mixed with jump ball skills. Brooks was the best RB in the draft and we picked the 2nd best TE in the draft. Also have a coach now who isn’t using an offensive playbook for 1972 so that helps. Keep on hating.
