Growing up in northeast Ohio I’ve been in Browns fan since I can remember and I’m now 65 years old. Ever since Art left Cleveland for Baltimore and the team was basically restarted as an expansion team, they have been plagued with stupid decisions surrounding a quarterback position. Soon as I heard about this Watson deal, I knew it was a bad idea and I just cringed. Here we go again! You know you would think that a franchise quarterback, such as Tom Brady, for example, Brett Favre, would want to come to Cleveland and play to bring this city a long sought after superbowl win. I can’t think of a better way for a quarterback, to be forever remembered as the quarterback, who ended this long drought for some of the greatest NFL fans ever. All it’s going to take for Cleveland is to find that quarterback, who wants to play for them and bring a championship to their city similar to what LeBron James did for the Cavs. But Cleveland can’t seem to get over this problem. I can’t blame young quarterbacks for wanting to be champions and to have a good chance to make it to the Super Bowl, but I’m just hoping that a franchise quarterback that has already been to the Super Bowl would come to Cleveland and play and get them out of this drought and become immortalized by an entire city forever! The same thing would apply to an already successful coach like Bill Belicheck (sp?) for example. Dee And Jimmy Haslam have got to find a way to change this reputation and or negative image of Cleveland Browns football. Paying Deshaun Watson or any other football player this much money set a very bad precedent for future NFL contracts as we just now saw with Dak Prescott. My opinion, the owners need to get together with the commissioner and find a way to put a cap on these contracts. We’re going to see more and more of this crap and it’s no wonder why it cost so much to be able to watch NFL games and go to actual games nowadays, they have to recoup this ridiculous money somehow and the fans are ultimately paying the price!! Man, I really miss Marty Schottenheimer and Bernie Kosar just a name two 😢. On another sidenote I can’t believe Deshaun Watson had the audacity to show up at a press conference wearing $10,000 bling bracelets and designer diamond stud glasses. This is a slap in the face to Cleveland fans if you ask me.

it never made sense for the browns to do this trade. they moved off baker because they couldnt deal with the growing pains most young qbs have. I think teams like the falcons, panthers and saints that chased him it actually made some sense for them.

Kevin Stefanski is a QB killer he takes the ball out the QB hands when they be balling Baker ring a bell

I don't think he really wants to play in a city like Cleveland, all money ain't good money, his heart is not in Cleveland

It sucks being a Browns fan because we take the brunt of jokes and ridicule when us as fans have 0 to do with the ineptitude of this front office. Really its just the QB situation thats been so horrendous, Berry has been solid everywhere else in the team.

The magic is missing right now, his confidence has taken a major hit .. True and I get it. However if we are talking about this year and taking it in the present ... it is 'ONE' game so far this season Lol. Dallas is a darn good team and he was pretty much thrown to the wolves this game. Let's give him until week five or six until we make our 'final' decision on him. One game against a good team all things considered is much to already be saying it's over for him and he needs to go. Let's give him a handful games to improve and try to get that magic back (or at least a large portion of it). With that said .. this year is his final chance to do something. That much is obvious.

It’s not just Watson. Stefanski is the most overrated coach I have ever seen. And Cleveland is missing Callahan, offensive line coach and assistant, who went to Tennessee.

He is 4 years older than he was in Houston when the average NFL player career is 3 years. He has lost a step when new defensive players have gained a step......

Although he is not in prison, He is inside his own prison. The women he treated bad can watch his downfall slowly and know that those who treat the people like he did will feel pain and agony in embarrassing fashion. Karma!

It will take me a long time to forgive the Browns for that trade. Texans used that draft capital pretty wisely, and now my Colts have to play them twice per year, every year.

I would not be shocked if Cleveland got Bryce Young or Zach Wilson for a bargain to back up Deshaun and then either of those two succeeded him. That's how finished he looks.

Got a first round pick in 2025 next yr draft your future qb. Have him ready. When the DW4 project is done. Hes going to show signs of top five qb in a few games comeing up. But will come up injured or be suspended. Winston can get us through the rest of the season with the DTR project. Plus look at your defense with no crowd noise they are average at best.

His Shoulder fx on his throwing arm was serious . His Mechanics are off. These next few games will tell the story. When the ball does not go where you want to throw it that alone will hurt your confidence.
