That’s what I think. Personally I think the Browns are involved, and this was their backup plan. On Sunday it was made clear the whole organization is screwed with this contract for the next 3 seasons. There is only 1 possible way out of the contract, and that’s if a new accuser pops up. Then the very next day an accuser pops up out of nowhere

If you read the statement the NFL released when they investigated DW, they said they reserve the right to reopen the investigation at any time if new allegations surface. In DW's contract, it states that the contract isn't voidable from allegations the NFL and Browns are already aware of, but that there is an avenue to void the guaranteed money if allegations surface that DW did not disclose from the past or committed after the signing of the contract. So, there is a pathway to voiding the guaranteed money.

It can be voided. Look up what Florio said who read Watson’s contract. If the NFL suspends him and it’s a different incident from the ones they were aware of the contract can be voided. Listen to what Lamar said in the clip about bad faith. Several retired players have said they can void a guaranteed contract on that basis - it’s written in the contract it’s not absolute.

It’s a civil suit and in his contract it states that if anything come up criminally not civil came up then they could avoid his contract, but this has been going on for a few years now and it’s one of the same victims that probablymentioned that he had some contact with in the past so if he let them know upfront before signing that this stuff could have come up then he’s in the clear so again y’all were wrong
