I like the professionalism back then. Players did their assignments gave the ball to the ref, and on to the next play, no silly dances for getting a first down or a sack, etc.

Joe Namath is the only HOF QB in the post-merger era that threw more INT's than TD's, and he had a losing record as a starter, thus this game was pretty much a microcosm of his career. He did some neat things, threw for 300 yards, a pretty TD pass, but ultimately lost the game because he was reckless and didn't take care of the ball, throwing 3 INT's including a pick 6 that clinched the loss, resulting in a lousy 68 QBR for the game.

See, this is what kills me inside... As a Bucs fan, we haven't had a really good season since XXXVII.. and they haven't been to the playoffs in forever... When in reality, the Browns and Jets have had far more failures. I feel bad for those die-hard fans that never leave. They deserve just a glimpse (I know the Jets went back-to-back in 09/10 and 10/11 for the AFC Title Game...) but to never return to the SB? Rough...
