@@caseyhouser9839 I’m not gonna say whether or not TJ will be better, I’ll let the professionals decide when they both retire. It’s also difficult to compare because the two play different positions in different schemes, with TJ playing outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, and JJ playing primarily DE in a 4-3. However, JJ won three defensive player of the year awards within his first five seasons and is also the only player in NFL history to amass 20 or more sacks in 2 seasons. For the next five seasons, he was injured and played only two full seasons out of the five. He has never really been the same since his injuries, considering he is also getting older. TJ is great but prime JJ was in the talk of best defensive player in history until his injuries compiled, and TJ hasn’t gotten there yet.

JJ genuinely changed the sport for the better. Offenses rarely ever had to deal with D line batting passes down but JJ showed the formula on how to tell if a rusher is able to get to the QB in time and how to adjust positioning to bat passes down. Ever since he started doing it 10 years ago it's become standard for players to train this. Notice how ever since JJ entered the league we suddenly have seen fewer and fewer 5000 yard seasons? This despite the league wanting MORE offense not less

@@ThatKidWitTheAfro He was left one on one the entire game against the Bengals because their OLine is too stupid to run shifts. I counted 7 sacks against one on one matchups because he plays the edge, so if they put enough people close to the line and bluff a blitz, it forces a 1-v-1 between the tackle and the DE.
