Loved watching this. Was every bit as good as TO during his prime. Would like to see NFL Throwback put together a compilation video of Jimmy Smith, one of the most underrated and forgotten WR's in NFL history. Had a great career with those playoff-bound Jaguars teams.

1:55 - This is what it feels like to play Madden online. You have Hall of Fame Safety Ed Reed in position to have an otherwise easy intercption, the other guy throws a stupid pass into coverage... and your guy drops it (or in Madden he doesn't even try for the pick or has a terrible animation) and they score a TD.

@@cyrillesu while i don't disagree, i do think people nitpick the game when things don't go their way and complain it is trash when it is just football The actual trash things are lost because of people who just say "he would've caught that in real life, Madden is stupid" are a larger majority...like that dude who won the tournament by only running, that's not a problem since the Broncos did it with Tebow but now Madden is gonna focus on that when there's other issues
@cyrillesu

@@fredleeland2464 well at the very least, they should bring back some of the old features or introduce new ones that actually enhance the gameplay. They're basically recycling the same game for the past 7 years now. Take Madden 21 for example. The game pretty much looks like Madden 20 except for a change in the playoff format and The Yard. Also, the player and team ratings in that game are the worst I've ever seen. I mean, seriously, it's total trash. The league MVP's a 94? Michael Thomas and D-Hop are rated higher than Julio? JJ Watt's a 98 while his little brother TJ who by the way finished 3rd in DPOY voting is only 86? Rob Gronkowski, who hasn't played football in over a year is 95? Richard Sherman and Jalen Ramsey are rated higher than Tre'Davious White? I could go on and on but you get the point.
@fredleeland2464
@fredleeland2464 3 жыл бұрын
@@cyrillesu ratings are whatever anyway and they will increase/decrease during the season...it's a marketing thing that gets players to engage with Madden players There's players with 72 overall that have been legends in a madden throughout the years based on a specific skill that game offers Madden is recycled but look at all the youtube people who couldn't care less and pay It gradually got better before because the fanbase was football fans, now it does what it does because the fanbase is for clickbait people that jump on bandwagons I stopped playing when 11 was announced and it clearly dumbed down the controls and things to cater to new players...people ate that up and madden hasn't looked back since by constantly changing controls and whatnot
