Moss won this. Revis only played the first half because his hamstring gave out trying to cover him. And this was 33 year old Moss against a prime Revis. Cromartie won his matchup with Moss tho in the second half and held Moss to 0 catches

Best thing about this piece of history is hearing how good a color man that Phil Simms is/was. In comparison, former Dallas QBs have a history of showing how little of the English language they know, as in an active vocabulary! And, weirdly enough, it's all three of 'em. Then in SB 42, Sterling Sharpe overseas outshined the guy in the States broadcast who said this iconic thing of idiocy: "it depends on the nature of his makeup." As if we have to wonder what he meant by make-up. These days, Cris Collinsworth is close to how good Simms was. Close, and not equal as in not equal, bt close. Sooo... Nance could have kept his mouth shut for a couple of plays... it's happened before. Instead he did his play-by-play of a fart.!

I remember watching Dez light up Revis and Cromartie in the same drive. Gave Revis slant and went 50 or 60 yards and capped it off with a TD over Cromartie on a fade route that Cromartie had no chance at getting.
@johnre53427 ай бұрын
Also remember when Revis picked off a pass intended for Dez to end the game
@bigred99917 ай бұрын
@johnre5342 that pass happened at right before halftime and Dez fell on the route. That's the only reason it was picked. Dez dominated both of them overrated corners. Cromartie more than Revis, but Revis is still overrated. He had 1 all-time great season and then maybe 5 seasons of slightly above average. The rest are sub-par and filled with injuries every time he got beat.
@johnre53427 ай бұрын
@@bigred9991 Dez didn't do shit. 3rec for 70 yds. That's not great. Darrell locked him up. Plus you lost. Now sit down in the corner.
@johnre53427 ай бұрын
You remember shit. On the first drive he had a 40 yd catch while he was in the slot. Revis wasn't guarding him. He ran a slant on the linebackers. He caught a td on Cromartie to finish the first drive. That was 5 minutes into the game. For the next 55 minutes he had only 1 catch for 25 yds on Revis. And with the game tied 24-24 and a minute left Revis intercepted a pass intended for Dez and the game was over. It was to end the game. Not halftime. I just looked up the highlights. Dez got owned. Do your research kid before you talk to the men.
