Yeah, but only for THIS game! The Trubisky experiment is over. Fields is going to end up in a coma if he keeps running around like he is. Chicago is where QB's go to stink themselves up so badly that no team in the league want's anything to do with them afterwards. Cleveland's got nothin on Chicago!

As crazy as this sounds...does this make the top 5 iconic games played in that stadium? There have been SO MANY ridiculous college and NFL games at that stadium in Glendale. Super Bowl 49, Super Bowl 42, A-Rod's Hail Mary/Fitz's catch and run in the 2015 NFC divisional, the 51-45 shootout in the 2009 Wild Card game, the Boise State/Oklahoma hook and lateral/Statue of Liberty Fiesta Bowl...it is AMAZING how many insane games have been fit in to this place in such a short amount of time.

Bears fan from birth (literally…my grandpa was best friends with Sid Luckman so my siblings and I are fortunate enough to have a ball signed by the entire team from the year of our respective births), here with an anecdote about that game. My grandfather had passed away the previous week and our family was in Illinois for the funeral that day. The entire group ended up in one of our hotel rooms eating deep dish while watching the game. The Bears were 5-0 at that point so the first 2/3 of the game was shocking but, with the defence (including my fave, Brian Urlacher) and Devin Hester, we didn’t feel like the game was over quite yet. As the comeback started and continued to be fueled by the defence and special teams, it really started to feel like something special was happening. When Arizona missed the FG attempt at the end, there were two thoughts in our hotel room: 1) that was the type of win that happens to a team that will go far (I actually called it that night that they were going to the Super Bowl, but I wasn’t sure how they would actually win it with Grossman at QB) and, more importantly; 2) Grandpa and “Uncle Sid” had SOMETHING to do with how the game turned around in the last 20 minutes (similar to how Walter Payton MUST have helped deflect the FG kick by the Packers, for the Bears to win the first game after his passing).

I ended up coming inside to check the score and saw for some reason the Cardinals didn’t have 30 points, they still had 23 and the Bears had 17. Fortunately I had the game on record and was able to start watching after Docketts pick6. Still saw Hesters return and I learned a valuable lesson, that the game isn’t over until it’s over.

@@ItsAllAboutGuitar oh yeah, he was definitely erratic the entire season and his career, but no team is benching their season long starter right before the SB. Especially after one of his best performances of the season.

Now you know why Dennis Green was rightfully upset. Incompetent kicking, QB, and special teams play undid them.

I remember Coors Lite (I think it was them- it was some beer company) had a commercial campaign where they inserted their own questions in coach press conferences and used the coaches' answers to answer the commercial questions. They used this conference and made it pretty comedic.

This game was the Rex Grossman in a nutshell. 10-cent brain, $10 arm, 0-work ethic. The Bears were resilient, tenacious & determined. Rex, *Not so Much.* He would go to be 1-of the main reasons they'd lose the Superbowl. *Rex was a turnover machine.*

Yea, the Bears giving up nearly 200 yards rushing to a pair of backup running backs while doing nothing on the ground themselves had nothing to do with it I'm sure.

What’s crazy is that the Chicago offense only got 3 points. The comeback was all on the CHI defense and special teams. It makes this comeback even more painful for the Cards.

I couldn't believe how bad Grossman was and I remember thinking my bears are going to lose to the cardinals of all teams with the rose bowls losing QB( Matt leinhert) that I laughed at when they lost to Texas! My fav player of all time Urlacher was huge in this game..

Hester wasn't 'Hester; by this point, meaning he was not recognized as a superstar yet. He did return a punt for a TD in week 1 against the Packers, but no one knew at this point he would turn the NFL upside down for a bit.
