Do you know how beautiful it is that this young man, named Rocker by his father, thinks and says, "you're never going to remember the bad when they're gone" in reference to your father/hero passing away. He has such amazing make role models that he can't even imagine growing up and feeling the way that at least 60% of people in the country do every day of their lives. He seriously does have a great father and grand father and has lived an obsurdly blessed life, which makes it a seen more insane that he grew up to be a damn good tough as nails man.

Great interview. I remember the Steiner rodeo company used to come to Taylor rodeo and early 70s. I would’ve liked to listen to some of the Yellowstone episodes with Rocker in it. That would’ve been cool. Have a great day.

I went to a bronc riding school last weekend to get on some buckers. Rome Wager was the instructor. Saw some old friends and made some new ones, we shared our gear with some of the kids that didn't have any. That's the beauty of this game. For the most part everyone is willing to lend a hand.

I’m still listening. I didn’t ride back when they bucked, but When I was a 10-12 year old kid my cousin and I would chase our herd bull till he was winded trying to put a piece of rubber garden hose with bailing wire on him for a bull rope. We started with just bailing wire. It was rough. Got the idea to run wire thru hose man it was fun. We even tried to flank him with bailing wire. Never got to ride in a rodeo. Always out of back of trailer, head chute or just catch something and ride it. 1:48:30
