The Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX has one of the highest top speed in 269 A+ Class in Need For Speed Unbound. Sadly that means it will lack acceleration as the game's performance rating favors top speed a lot more. And most tracks in A+ Class favors acceleration.

The best engine is the 2.6 i6 swap as it provides slightly better acceleration over the stock engine. The combination of off-road suspension and grip tires is to prevent the car from being twitchy and allows for a predictable handling. This setup also allows you to easily build burst NOS from the combination of microdrifting and grip. Building burst NOS is the key to cover the car's weak acceleration.

ISAD, you might want to check out the 240z, having stock engine & full elite performance parts quickly made it S class. From the races i played, I found out the car has OK top speed for S class, 310kmh, but it's mid to high acceleration is extremely good, and managed to chase from last place to first place even when the opponents are using McLaren 720s, rsr, or the Murcielago without even using nos. Oh and you can stylize it as Devil Z. I put stock tires to give a more lore accurate driving style as in Wangan Midnight. That is hard to control, potentially lethal to the driver🤣

@@bmoboss on all of the races I've done(even with the stock tires) i managed to chase and pass the whole pack on a straight. I'm not sure why but the car is SO fast especially when you have a full tank of elite nitrous. Struggled a bit on the corners though.

Let's be honest here, I'm not knocking the game or anything but from what I've seen so far this is Need for Speed heat 2.0 with a few boneless add-ons.

@@frankybarra3365 technically I would call it payback 2.1 but who's counting. Need for Speed 2015 is obviously the best ever made and what would make it better is real simple, add about 50 cars and double the size of the map as they were going to do to begin with. If you look in the map in the game you'll see there's quite a bit that you can't drive on, you were supposed to but, it got cut due to budget and time constraints, they also had Need for Speed Payback in development which was taking priority over 2015 in many ways. Money will always be the deciding factor in game development these days, and that's really sad. I like to cameo gaming channels from time to time that feature need for speed, and when somebody like yourself replies to my comment I like to leave a somewhat educational reply, while revealing who I am. Though I haven't raced in little over a year, I'm the guy on 2015 nobody likes. I'm the guy that does not glitch or cheat, I race clean 100% of the time and hold many unbeatable records. I assisted in the development of NFS 2015, the car on the cover, green Porsche, is my car. Which in turn, turned out to be everybody's go-to car lol. So we had to make a few adjustments and make that old stock 65 a little more to Ken's likings, a little more realistic. Many cars were altered to somewhat level the playing field while keeping true to the original cars specs. This was done by modifying tuning parts specs for each car. Embedded within the game is an Easter egg, this Easter egg is the true power and performance output of every car. The secret to doing it is installing the upgraded Parts in a specific order and the order for each car is different. From there you will fine tune doing downdraft, wheel width etc. The only way to figure out this Easter egg is to actually complete it not knowing that you've done it, and have a friend with the exact same parts that's much slower. The only one difference between the two cars, the stats. Because one car was put together in a specific order of Parts it is much faster than the other one even though they have the exact same parts. The order in which they're put on is the secret. The order in which parts are put on is different for each car, so in other words one specific order for one car will not work for a different car, that order is going to be different for that car. If you're not getting the desired results, you will have to sell the car and purchase it new again. If you already have a car that's maxed out on parts and take the parts off and put them back on in a different order it will not work this way. You have to start from the original purchase stock car. So who Am I?

What I learned of this game is that balancing can be absolutely fucked and that consistency is its own reward. Otherwise you'll become slave to the metabuild, I do however always lower my drivetrain where feasible to gain more acceleration and parts in any given field. Most tracks don't even allow for top speeds to be hit.

Tuners were good at handling, muscle had the best acceleration, and exotic had the best top speed. Applies pretty well to modern cars still.

@@lifesAtrip513 Wrong 1: Exotic have best balance between the three stats in Carbon 2: Modern exotic supercars in real life are currently better than many muscle cars in therms of acceleration, also better than tuners on handling 3: Many tuners in real life can go over 400KM/H and accelerate faster than muscle cars if they are well built also 4: About other games, the car stats is relative, and ain't necessarily associated with car class Obs: The number 1 can be clearly checked out in NFS Carbon, where all the 3 bars of performance are perfectly balanced on exotics, being the tier 3 ones the highest performing

It's funny how car with the same engine, AWD, and 250 kg less accelerates worse than R34 (or is it the gearbox fault?). The front bumper you choose is too stock for the rest of the car - full body from FNF fits Melisa's livery perfectly and you could also make it wider.
