NFS Unbound - Supercharged Honda NSX-R Grip Build For A+ Class 269

One of the nicest grip cars to drive in Need For Speed Unbound in 269 A+ Class! The NSX-R is also a great car to practice microdrifting as it is one of those cars that refuses to drift into a large angle. Now if only we can hear the supercharger whine during races...
Sadly the stock Vtec engine is bad and to get the best performance, you need the Flat 4 engine swap.

Pretty straight forward with the goal is to squeeze as much power to 269 performance index. If you want the absolute best performance for the car, you will have to engine swap into the Flat 4 and the Vtec is the worse performing engine among the engine swaps.

S+ is really broken. I haven't gotten my hands on a Regera yet but the new Countach that I run is already really op. Hope they can balance this class in future updates.

@@Tango_Mike When you get a Regera you realize that most Regera drivers are absolutely garbage. It's a boring car to win with honestly unless you find a really good driver who challenges you. Personally, I like to use the Polestar 1 for S+ if no one is using a Regera. Very rewarding to get wins with the Polestar.

The Diablo is pretty fun, there’s a few builds on KZbin that are all competitive with stuff like the GTI, Skyline, Merci, etc. If you got it from the Story Mode, the Vulcan is literally the fastest S car in the game and I never see anyone running it. Guessing cause of the price if you otherwise didn’t get it for free.

Lancers are usually pretty good for taking corners at high speed as long as you drift it correctly , that could be why they are getting around you. At least imo i like Lancers handling, idk how they handle in this game though

Coming from NFS Most Wanted 12, the sound in Unbound is a bit worse, dirtied by the vfx sound, not loud enough, and the handling physics is not fun to play with anymore. Cars are generally too slow, and the superchargers are not as powerful as in previous NFS games. The normal NOS hasn't been preserved and completely lost its regen speed. Only the graphics and visual customization make this game worthy. Nothing else.

I don't know man.... this handling and physics.. to me they don't look fun at all. It's like the game doesn't know if it wants to be arcade or simcade.. like let's take the WORST and most annoying elements of sim, and the least fun aspects of arcade and blend THOSE together.... you get this unappealing handling where it looks like the cars are choking on every single corner while desperately trying to inhale from that NOS-life support in desperate efforts to make it look somewhat decent.... it's so bad, that people are literally using NOS, not to gain speed, but rather to correct this bad handling and get a sliver of grip freedom and break away from that awful formula. Take hot wheels for instance.. the game knows what it wants to be. Arcade.. and it looks damn fun.. take Grid 1, it knows what it wants to be, simcade, so it takes all the good elements of sim and all good elements of arcade and creates a fun and nice-looking blend... take this game and it just looks hella cringey to me.. no flow whatsoever... Isad's an amazing racer. Now take a look how even he struggles with this horrible physics, let's analyze: 8:12.. simple friggin corner, but the grip is so awkward the game doesn't know what it wants and mid-way through the corner the car hiccups.. then the hairpin comes, Isad executes the angle perfectly.... but the handling is utter crap and is about to SNUFF his engine for attempting to do that, and Isad knows it, so he calls in life-support to save the day and give some actual power to that dying car, trying to save momentum, and as a result you get this ultra-ugly and unappealing offroad cornering.. on the next hairpin the car just flatout dies, even with life support... you know what it reminds me off? Like watching a fat kid on a tricycle pushing up with its entire body trying to make it go up.. so like goes up little by little. It looks SO bad.. I mean who on earth would see that and be like "oh I wanna play this, this looks fun"... well certainly not me. I had that reaction when I was watching his hot wheels and grid 2 videos for instance.. but this... I just cringe and try to imagine how much he has to struggle and compensate for those awfully designed physics.

@@Callmedrain sadly no, but I am planning to. This was a mere observation. To me personally, these kind of physics don't look fun at all. I had the same hunch about drifting in nfs payback, just from watching the footage I could tell you don't have to apply any countersteering whatsoever but rather do something completely counterintuitive to real drifting, which is turn the wheels, not opposite of the corner to countersteer, but rather in the direction you're steering.. and when I tried the game, it was exactly like that.
