Bandai evolved so much as seen with this kit. One issue for me is that I wish they give a pilot figure like this one.

they did the pilot figure statues most commonly with their kits from the early 2000s era, you see them a lot with older MG kits like the MG Gouf custom, and with these old NG 1/144s, this one was actually from the 90's i believe but it was reissued in 2000 with the pilot figure

I already know that I would be awful at placing the stickers down correctly. I love seeing Sandrock come to life like that as you built him. This was a really fun video to watch with some calming music added.

Nice editing! This kit wasn’t doing it for me until you added the metallic gold stickers. Those really made the kit pop and then I loved it. Nice work man

definitely love the build process on this one, but the poor boy's face never stood a chance. I do love the backpack and weaponry on this non-grade though. Great work on placing those stickers on the skirt pieces, thats a lot of angles to bend around!

Dunno but I can tell you it’s not a horrible kit being an old old 1/144 ng and all, you aren’t going to get much out of this from looks or poseability but it’s a fun little kit and is really cheap

Well the XXXG-01SR2 Gundam Sandrock Custom is the one that uses it. So I'd guess that Bandai will eventually make an HGAC XXXG-01SR2 Gundam Sandrock Custom (TV).
