I can 100% relate with Mr Ng on caring for his late wife in her last 19 months being the happiest months of their lives. This happened to me when my husband was diagnosed with lung/brain cancer and I accompanied him to every doctor visits, chemo and radio therapy sessions, etc. Subsequently when his condition deteriorated and he had to be hospitalized and I took unpaid leave to stay by his side 24/7 during his last 9 weeks of his life in hospital. It was the happiest times of our lives where we spent real quality time together. This was 15 years ago and Mr Ng brought back precious memories. Thank you Mr Ng. Mr Ng is a decent man; he appears sharp and sincere and definitely qualified.

Most people don't realise, he is not just from Kangkar, he come from the paikia school Monfort. And he did so well. The father sell fish in the Kangkar fishery port, to the guy who bought all our blue chip dividend stocks. Ask me, I actually like his financial training more than Tharman's because he probably knows most of the portfolio by heart. Tharman just do the approving, he have to heavily research, sort out and reject, and then have a narrowed quality buy to be presented to Tharman for purchase.

Watched TKL's video first then came over The difference is totally Heaven and Hell. TKL is so narrow minded and so defensive Where as Mr Ng is so open minded, flexible and also know how to handle situations / questions well, indeed someone who definitely helped late Mr LKY before. Awaiting for Mr Tharman's interview most likely he would be also a strong 1 since he should expect what kind of questions will be asked. Most likely its fight between Mr Tharman and Mr Ng, TKL is out lol

I actually believe that Mr Ng would serve as a better candidate for the presidency, as we all know that Mr Tharman's capabilities are being wasted on presidential duties. Because it is a more informal setting. Not everybody is media trained and comfortable in front of a bunch of reporters. Also a podcast is more intimate and personified the candidates. I enjoyed this series of podcast and interesting to know more about the candidates.

Good job daily podcast! Prob the channel that manage to invite all 3 candidates with equal chance for them to tell us who they really are. Ng kok song is seen to be a very intelligent men even at his age. I think he do stand equal chance. His branding - no party, meditation master, calm and stable. His profession - investment. He linked with this fiance through similar interest = investment. Not sure if u guys feel the same. But when he mention the strong need in keeping reserved safe for rainy days. He has strong relations and respect for LKY. I don't knoe if his no party branding still applies. Yes keeping our reserves is impt for rainy days. But does that also mean not making any change as a president aka protecting the reserves? Questionable. But a respected qualified candidate. A good father and husband. Likely a very emotionally connected to people around him. Does have some LKY vibes. They r prob very close frens.

Mr Ng sounds like a very legitimate candidate with all his experiences, except that unfortunately he doesn't seem to have any "listening" experience to listen to the people on the ground and volunteering or contributing to society whereas Mr. Tharman and Mr Tan has that.
