Hang on... you never played Revolution? WHAT?! No, seriously. HOW?! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????

0:20 - Sadly I couldn't play much of it after its release due to being far away from home, but I have playtested it eons ago so you'll be my guide today ;) 5:17 - I could be mistaken, but from what I remember from chatting with Wii2, this is all randomized and procedurally generated live. Crazy stuff if that's the actual case!! 25:54 - Welcome to the actual puzzle! :D 38:07 - Either you were ultra lucky, or Wii2 cheated in your favor. Either way, that was intense!! Awesome video! Wii2 really does have a way with endings, huh? Also, you solved the actual puzzle portion rather quickly, well done :D

brilliant puzzle, gorgeous & very entertaining Hammer work and a rather fast solve. I've been watching some of your older videos and you've definitely improved over the years. I myself had to resort to the original to figure out the solution but it was fun to see how that was translated into this Hammerized version.

It took me way too long to realize that this is a hammerization when i originally played it lol.

another long ngeruma video! this week is going to be great! those chamber signs are stunningly detailed. I wonder how it is implemented in Hammer. gorgeous map! wii2 is one hell of a talented hammerizationalizer. end of the video was a nice touch as well. it looked like the ngeruma paw breaking the wall

i really like this puzzle, not only is it great attention to detail but i really love behind the scenes maps as well, and the fact you can pretty much always look at giant pits is pretty cool

Damn, that was excellent all around! I played a moderate amount of Mevious maps back in the day and struggled with many of them. Never played a Hammerized version though, which only makes them harder. Great work solving this one!!

My view is that if this map was in the clean style (my favourite style) I would have solved it. In this style, too much art work stops me seeing the solution.

I feel like you missed out on a couple possible interactions in this map... You didn't try to overlap the light bridge and the excursion funnel, thereby sending the cube along the bridge and into the wooden panel blocking off the bridge's emitter... Second, there was a whole section of broken wall in the portal1 side that you completely ignored the behind-the-scenes details of. Could've been something interesting/useful back there.

Hello! I have a challenge for you: solve the next 2 random puzzles (maps) using the least number of portals. Start with 20 portals, but every φ² minutes (or ≈ 2m 37s) decrease that number by 1. If you used more portals than you have left, you lose. You only have 2 attempts! (You can skip this challenge if you want)

What's the significance of every phi minutes?
@Quantum-qg2mz6 ай бұрын
@@zackbuildit88 I used Phi because it provides the perfect timing ratio for reducing the number of portals (because maps are random). The Phi number, being more than half but less than a whole, allows for an optimal balance where it takes less than a whole but more than half the time to completely deplete the portals.
@zackbuildit886 ай бұрын
@@Quantum-qg2mz why not 1.75? Same properties that made you choose phi, and that way it also cleanly converts to minutes, 1 minute 45 seconds
@Quantum-qg2mz6 ай бұрын
@@zackbuildit88 You've sparked an idea. How about using the arithmetic mean between two different golden ratios instead of twice the golden ratio - specifically, the average between the golden ratio and twice the golden ratio? That is, (φ + 2φ) / 2 ≈ 2.427 (or approximately 2 minutes and 25 seconds). I apologize, but the number '1.75' might not be sufficient for larger maps. Now, I believe the arithmetic mean between φ and 2φ is a better fit.
@zackbuildit886 ай бұрын
@@Quantum-qg2mz 2ɸ isn't actually a golden ratio, for what you're doing you'd look for 1+ɸ which is equal to ɸ² (this is actually one of the core defining properties of the constant), 2ɸ isn't a golden ratio because it lacks all defining properties of the actual value. The other true golden ratio is approximately -0.618, or (1-√(5))/2 instead of (1+√(5))/2 Also, arithmetic mean of a number and its double is just 1.5 times the number
