One little specification on Ozma: The devs let him have one status weakness, Slow, as a joke. He actually has his own special passive ability I like to call "Nuh uh I go first" where any time you issue an order his ATB bar fills instantly, he picks his move, and executes it BEFORE the order you issued. So the only 'safe' time to issue orders is during the animation of one of his abilities, otherwise he will get his turn in-between all your characters' turns.

Funnily enough, Ozma's Meteor actually just does random damage. It can do as little as 110 damage and as much as 9999. In theory, you could be lucky and just get hit for barely anything every time it uses Meteor.

@@NGPlusVideos I had a tough enough time doing it normally so props for pulling it off! @NGPlusVideos2 жыл бұрын
Well firstly, my own bias towards Freya 😅 Also, there were a lot of unknowns going into this, and I had to make several back-up saves, but I really didn't want to have to load a really old save. So I wanted to commit to an end-game team early. Dagger not having Trance at all in the Desert Palace was putting me off her from the start. Plus I wanted that higher HP for survival (and to withstand hits for Trance build up). Dagger may very well have been the more practical choice overall, but I didn't want to grind any more than I had to (learning Auto Life for two characters in this run took long enough!)

One thing that was missed (or unknown?) is that every character gains a 50% boost to attack while in Trance, on their regular attack, in addition to the command change that everyone except Steiner gets. If Steiner's 200% attack boost is okay, then wouldn't everyone else's also be okay? Not that it makes much difference most of the time, but it would certainly have helped Quina out.
@NGPlusVideos2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's kinda why I had to word it quite specifically by saying 'unique' abilities/buffs. Otherwise it would have been too easy I reckon. Thanks for watching 😀
@Nekufan10000002 жыл бұрын
Yeah, if he wasn't going for just the unique stuff I think the run could have been a little less frustrating. Freya is a MASSIVE DPS with her trance up, and spear is just good for AoE. Good, not great. Her regular attack command, however, can rival Steiner's in the mid to late game. I mean, I guess everyone can late game, but when I play casually I usually run a team of Zidane, Vivi, Eiko/Dagger, and Freya for the usual thief, mage, healer, warrior mix, and I've not seen a time where Freya doesn't hit the damage cap. And I'm not even that good at this game. I had no idea where the ultimate weapons and stuff were.
