Iirc they didn't show any update to the story until April next year on the road map. I'm gonna inhale some copium and imagine that it's because they're planing to drop several chapters at the same time instead of the typical 20 minutes worth of story every two months. Personally I prefer this way. Even though I play everyday I like to binge watching a anime over waiting every week for a new episode.

Well, the roadmap didn't show any story at all tbh. I we only know when the Vael UQ is meant to drop (February) and from that we can infer when the next Story chapter will drop. However given that story is used as a Leveling catch-up for new players, we get a level cap + Stia overhaul in October and that lacking a story for 8 months seems rather silly to me. I hope we might get something in October, especially since I feel like we need events between Chapter 7 and Vael UQ to let time pass in-game and check in on the characters how the events of chapter 7 affect them and the world.

I don't expect story update before October at the earliest. If we get a story update there then it's still better pace than during Chapter 1~4 where we ahd to wait 6 months for an update x_x
