@@hugejohnson5011 На этом участке ворота плотины открываются и закрываются автоматически, исходя из соотношения уровня воды от приливной волны к уровню воды в канале или реке. В данном случае, уровень приливной волны увеличивается, по отношению к уровень воды в канале, увеличивается и давление на створки ворот - ворота закрываются. При отливе всё наоборот, уровень приливной волны уменьшается, а в канале уровень воды в результате накопления речного потока увеличивается тем самым в определенный момент времени давление на ворота плотины становится выше и ворота автоматически открываются.. На этой плотине нет ни каких иных механизмов и приводов в работе ворот!!!

Plenty I'll bet! Also, the water is about 20' to 25' deep at the gate, according to the video maker. He stated 7.3 meters. My point is, there's plenty of room for tires! It's likely a mess at the bottom of that river. There is another channel that records these same boats at a huge dam, and it is a madhouse! One can see the trash floating in the water in disgusting piles sometimes!

I realize that these captains do not care what they sit on, but I find it pretty peculiar that on a boat that likely costs quite a bit of money, that they don't use a pedestal and base bolted down, and at least a seat like that used on a farm tractor. Just an observation, not a criticism from me. Thank you.

The telling aspect is that on the ramp, there are "cleats" built in that look like they were made to facilitate the loading/unloading of caterpillar tracked vehicles. Could have even been for the Seabees or Army engineers for construction equipment.
