This comment is for MA vlogs. I did not know he is a vlogger untill I came in to the comment section. This man is a kind person even behind the camera. Last month I was in this same road, the road was covered in puddles and the trucks were stranded, but wasn't getting much media coverage. Me and my friend were struggling to cross the road that looked like a swamp by then. This kind man helped us carry our baskets and heavy bags across the road while others stood watching.

As mentioned by one of the men, they have already requested the NHIDCL and also the government to build a wall multiple times to prevent such accidents to occur in the future but instead as mentioned, their request was left unheard resulting in multiple loss of lives and huge loss of property. CM simply sending his condolences is now too late. Enough is enough. NHIDCL, the contractors and the government should be blamed. This is not just a natural calamity but rather it is a man made calamity occurred due to the negligence of NHIDCL and the government.

If we are being practical, this is what we call an unavoidable natural disaster. No retaining wall would've stopped this, so now the job of the govt.(Disaster Department) is to actively aid the effected and do more studies of how to go about repairing the area effectively.

Flash flood is very dangerous in mountainous area … I remember talking about flash flood 10 years back with my uncle … we were discussing about the danger if it happens in town area like Kohima etc.. RIP to all who have lost their life.

Just a clarification: The deceased mother son duo are from chakesang community and not angami community and the Nepali and mistri are both around 55 - 60 yrs old and not 15-16 years as interviewed.

I think this is cloudburst first ever occurred in Nagaland.. Cloud burst is prone in mountainous had it occured at day many people will witness and also many will lose life... May God save us from such disaster... No other will save us but Only God will save us 🙏

Cloud burst is accompanied by flash flood in most of the Himalayan ranges. I think this is also one of it's kind. Uttarkhand tragedy was also one of it's kind.
