Have you seen eashl? That has been changed dramatically. Draft champions is also coming out in the main game. Hut now has synergies and sets. This is a major change all the way around unlike madden 17.

I don't understand how this ruins the game? By far this is in my opinion the most realistic NHL since like NHL 12 haha if you can't play D then these goals are gonna go in on you. With the improved hitting, skating and player control, if you aren't bad at the game and know what you're doing then you wouldn't have to worry. I enjoyed every second of the beta, I think they improved so many games, I saw less skill zone, and I even punished people playing skill zone by dumping and chasing. I mean that shit actually works, a hockey tactic that actually works in an EA game like cmon hahaha the game is gonna be sick, learn hockey and you won't have a problem dominating

It's not a problem for me if someone will score like he do. But it's embarrassing when everyone in hut tryin' to score by slap shot and do it all the time ( in 16 one timers) I can loose but with opponent who's got some skills, not a people who only skate by one player with stick left or right and lookin' for pass to one timer doin' a thousand cirles . nhl 17 its ok for me because i prefer sim play and i like trying to score by slap or deflection, but not 2m in front of goal

Agree. They just have to tone down the board play, poke check, and how easy it is to knock bigger players off the puck. They also need to improve how the puck bounces off the players stick even on the softest passes, and make the turning/puck pickups better. Aside from that, everything seems fine

Right? Nothing bothers me more than people who call the game shit just for the sake of it. It's like every goal is called a glitch goal. I guarantee if EA fixed these "glitch goals" then people would complain that goalies are too good. Obviously the game isn't perfect but this is the best game yet. People who say it's the same thing are idiots. You can't expect them to make drastic changes every year.

nice video.. I was wondering why I cant score those short side wristers anymore. And every time a dude skates across the goalies face its an automatic goal. The money breakaway move for me is letting go of the Left stick and sliding booth sticks to one side (stride deke) and usually gives enough open net to not even need to roof it

The goalies are supposed to make more realistic saves, but yes they're actual strengths and weaknesses in real life will be the same on the game.

Rookie is too easy now. I scored 15 points the other day scoring every time by skating past the goalie from my right side and writing it in on the left, but in pro I can't score more than 1 or two at most. any tips. will this slaps hot work in pro?

The slapshot works because of the new shoulder save goalie mechanics slapshot in this game are normally high so the goalie drops and tries to use the shoulder to stop the shot

In the beta, I've noticed that goalies will give up a lot more rebounds in any shot, created more chances. Also, I agree with that one-t from the point, absolute cheese

+Demolition D No, a glitch means that there's a mistake in the coding. EA is purposely programming the goalies to make some mistakes so that you can score. That being said I do wish that EA would lower the accuracy of slap shots in order to lower the chances of scoring slappers which would make the game more realistic.

Actually I think they are not OP but they finally did make ratings count, so off course If you got 88+ rating players on your team then you are scoring on slap shots way more easier. Like this year is first year when skating rating does count and you can over skate anyone with lower rating.

For everyone complaining about glitch goals, I will settle all them here - post to post (especially on faceoff pushes) - pull back wristers up close - forehand backhand breakaway (this is the only acceptable one to do) - Toe drag behind the net into slot, then backhand - Backskating slapshot upclose - Toe drag backhand on breakaway right in front of goalie with player that has 84+ hands The rest are normal ways to score, all above is just a trashy way to score.

They need to nerf the slap shot a little bit, as even if the goalie saves it, he will be stunned for 3-5 seconds it seems making it easy to get the goal of the rebound. Also goalies need to be able to stop breakways at least half of the time. Maybe have 3-4 different methods a goalie can do on a breakaway, so that you need to memorize more than the left right motion to score. You would actually need to look at the goalie to see what he is doing, then use the correct move to put it in.
