Markstrom has performed wherever he's been put, so i'd keep the +5 line with ovechkin, crosby, zion and if you can get a +3 with wright , markstrom, bellows/laine/ronning/mcmuffin, then do that. I'd put mcmuffin on the third line as he was better than ronning and maybe play ronning on the 4th line just for the playoffs even though he's a certified playoffs legend

Markstrom was a +27 in 43 games. The team needs him to be playing max minutes. Zion is the leader on offense, but playing on the second line isn't going to hurt him. And his chemistry on the second line should actually be better. Consider playing Markstrom with Wright and Laine on 1st line, Zion with Crosby and Ovi on the second line. Bellows' numbers did decline a bit, but he should slot in nicely next to Roach on the 3rd line. Ty Ronning not being on the top 6 is a crime though, especially during the playoffs. I don't envy you having to make these decisions lol. Winning the cup and GM Week has really reignited this franchise for me. Let's go for our second boys!!! Shinzo wo Sasageyo!

Losing the +3 really hurt luke roach's production he had like 33-35 point nearly point per game (cant remember exact number) before we got markstrom but it had to happen. Also this may be a little premature since it will be weeks before free agency but that elite unsigned goalie may a great place holder to be our tendy till we get the next goalie of the future Go ICE EAGLES!
