The reason why Lightning has the stats that he does is because the sim engine scoring is on high, so basically teams are going to score a lot of goals. Usually goalies would probably have goals against averages of 2.80 to 3 something because teams score so much

Don’t worry about McMuffin dropping off it happens to me with josh Anderson in my franchise mode every year he ends at 86-88 but when the morale resets he drops back down but he always just climbs back up

XTech all goalies you draft gets around 80+ overall but it might take a few years. the only problem with that is they want lots of cash

Don't worry about Mcmuffin, In my franchise denisenko would go all the way up to 87 to 89 but then be next year he drops off to 82 83 but produces the same

If Morgan Frost grew to around 80-84 OVR (and doesnt have insane trade value), I think he is a great target for the bottom 6. Great young playmaking forward that could slot right into the team and I think help for the cup run.

Watch for the player in A caliber league in later rounds of the draft, I drafted a guy from a A league with 4 points in 28 games in the 3rd round and he turned 80 overall at 18 years old as a third rounder so you got to keep an eye on these guys

Hunter lightning can only do so much. U can't blame it on goal tending anymore. The offense is elite, the defense is good enough to get it done, but I don't see this team even going to the conference final without a change behind the bench.

For the goalie stats, Tougie tried medium sim scoring and high shot totals, stats are more realistic for every goalie. Also Hunter Lighting might have 0/2 consistency that would mean he's more inclined to give up 7-8 goals on one game then get three shoutouts and then be bad again

I thought that the consistency attribute was reversed for some crazy reason and that 0/2 was most consistent with 2/2 being least. At least that's what I remember reading from NHL 19 on forums.
