This game is frustrating for multiple reasons. One game you score with ease, Tue next your opponents goalie is the greatest goalie ever. Or you cant do a thing because of ping or you have good ping and u feel slow

It's a problem with the developers and the game tilt. But you won't get anywhere with the hashtag get good people. I played a game to try to get the xfactor pack.....couldn't beat pro at all...went to OT at 0 to 0.....they I basically quit bc I was frustrated and didn't touch the controller......waited like 3 mins of the computer playing itself then they made me score....fucking joke. And these guys won't say shit about it. Thas developer tilt.

Thanks so much! I love the tips ins, and they really are a little challenging to set the timing up for so they don't happen all the time the same way some tried and true methods can get . Somehow I got it into my head it was crash the net I was using(makes sense anyway) and I just couldn't get the guys to hang out in the slot to set it up no matter what options I used. Still puzzled by that one- it's called 'crash the net' and yet there are no net battles and very little activity in the slot. I hadn't scored a tip in in something like a dozen games, then I used overload at your suggestion and kept an eye on the center's path. Sure enough, that's the one. On the overload the forwards do a lot of signaling where the open man is with their sticks, and as a result it also sets the guy in the slot up for tip ins cause it's already in the air half the time. Got one later that game- they're such pretty goals

our chel centerman is a big grinder with gold big tipper. He had 3 tipped goals in a game last night that were filthy. One timer scoring may be toned down but shots from the point leading to a tip are so money.

Having played around w tip-ins for a few more seasons, it's also clear that players with very high offensive awareness, because they tend to hang exactly where they should be and also follow the development of plays, will drastically increase your tip in opportunities where that player in the slot is actually looking for the tip. I think line chemistry makes a difference here as well but I can't be certain at this point. Anyway, a high off awareness player on a line on overload with low to mid cycle value which will cause them to stray a little less, combined w players at the point w reasonably fast and accurate shot seems to be the perfect storm. For example with Crosby at center and D with fast shot, the results have been real consistent. Still at the mercy of the game with how many are goals vs saves/post pings but it's nice to be able to rely on setting up a try at will

The switcharoo is the most op goal in the game. The switcharoo is where you pass like you would for a one tee, but instead of one timing it, you catch it and shoot it the other way. The reason it is so op this year is because of the nerf of one timers. They made goalies slide over so aggressively that it opens up the switcharoo. This happens almost every year where they nerf one glitch goal, and another one opens up. This happened in NHL 22 when thru nerfed the short side snipe, the far side snipe opened up

Hey:) so for offside the puck just has to cross the blue line before any players do, if you go in early you can either wait at the blue line or glide beside it waiting, if the puck comes out of the blue line during play, you have to wait for your whole team to leave the zone before you can go back in, hope this helped

I like the video. I typically use crash the net since if I get the puck in my zone I takenitndown the ice then hesitate a second or 2 then make a wrist shot. Normally a teammate will be close by to get a easy rebound shot. On a face off in thier zone from the left side I kick it back to my defensive man back left of the dot then wait till my center gets almost in front of the net for a redirect.

I wish he woulda said what kind of shot he was using for a lot of these examples. Ya know, wrister v a slappy. Like the tip-in portion. Talks a lot about aiming, but which shot would have better odds with getting that tip. And I like to know more about these wrap-arounds and how they’re done effectively enough to find some regular success. I have never done such a strict 180 in gameplay ability. I was fine and having a lot of fun on the games until about 2010, 2011, then bam! It’s like a door shut in my face. So much intricacy was put into many areas. Deking actually became a big thing with so many little moves to memorize. Aiming became necessary finally. Then to find I’m not all that good at that haha. But nice to see some things never change. The opponent never getting penalties. Their defense generally being twice your speed, as well as still being able to mug you just skating by and brushing against you. This series has made me feel so helpless haha. Playing several of the series over the years and I’m just not seeing me getting any better. Maybe I’m just not getting it. Similar to the NBA games, but I never played those as regularly. I love hockey though and loved starting a new season with a favorite team and watching my progress through their schedule calendar. Now it’s making me wanna start drinking. Pass me a PBR. I just wanted to vent. Highly frustrated. Don’t have to make fun of me too harshly. Haha!

When was this video made? They must have patched it since. That far side goal is like 20% and I've never scored off the faceoff when I have it like that. I can get close to 30 shots a game but scoring more than 2 goals is a HUGE achievement. They need to make the experience better. Random goals for both sides, like a dice roll every time. The one two deke doesnt work much either, again seems random. Just shoot, same results.

@@waynebirks well I wasn't running the overload and tried it last night and love it. Sadly I like to play hockey like the nhl not to win games with glitch goals which is why I like to play squad battles on super star rather then rivals to beat people with cheap goals. I can't tell you how many times in 22 I could beat people because all I would have to do is defend the cross one timer when they had a clear shot to the net they would not take. So in that aspect this does make sense knowing what 9-10 players are going to do to score will give you an advantage.
