The difference is the ownership, they have an owner who wants to spend to the cap and not scrap every penny he has and barelly make it to the cap floor. The Smiths basically have a blank check for Armstrong to work with now

I've been watching the Lightning a long time and seen a lot of Sergachev. He isn't even worth 6 million, I might think about keeping him on my team if he was playing for 5. Lightning won this trade in a big way. They will regret his contract.

Has a really good shot, decent size, not the fastest but solid skater, doesnt play much defence. Named captain only in his 2nd season in junior, high compete level. You got a stud I think
