Game speed will gradually become faster once overalls get higher, I dont mind the gameplay

Yeah maybe as skating gets higher the speed will increase but for right now it is a little slow… I have Base McDavid and he’s so slow for a 92 speed card like to be honest he’s not even Meta right now definitely not even close to prior years.

You can do the crosby mohawk by tapping backhand and instantly holding L2, it feels reeeeaaallly nice

I love the new game! New player and goalie animations,more fluid game play, Crisper graphics,I love this game! Thank you EA. And I’m not even good at All really with theses newer faster games.but it’s fun and realistic to me.

I’m noticing there are a lot of stupid and soft goals going in and it seems to be worse than NHL 24… Other than that as of now I think this NHL game is definitely the best one we have had in the 20s… It’s better than 20-24.

If you got the base version of the game, how did you get early access? I thought early access was only for deluxe edition?

Haven’t played NHL since NHL 21 on PS4. Bought a PS5 and NHL25 yesterday to play some HUT again. WOW, what a disappointment 😌 the menus are crazy slow/laggy and I feel like the gameplay has some delay/input lag. I’ve good internet connection and I play with cable so no WiFi, so shouldn’t be the problem here. Guess I’m not the only one experiencing this? 😢

EA uses a very old garbage server for example if you were to play EA FC 25 you’d have perfect connection they spend as little as possible on NHL because it is a niche market almost not even a AAA game more like an indie

I’d say if you’re a big online play guy worth the upgrade, if you mainly play offline modes I’d wait for a sale

Well, I personally made the decision not to buy the deluxe edition this year. Mainly because they announced the world championships will not be played in this year's HUT. Not sure what the situation is in your region, but here in Finland I'm able to get the game for 50€ on the standard edition release day (on disc from a store) You can currently get the 10h trial version of the game on EA play if you want to test it out. Anyhow my answer to "is it worth upgrading" is usually: "if you play online, yes. If not, then waiting for a sale makes sense if you really wanna save the money"

literally 1000/1000 times can just walk the AI to the net and ez pz lemon sqeze gltich goals.... "ICE-Q" lmfao not a shot SAME poo ass AI, And dont get me started on be a pro.... my good god the new addition of celebration glitches as well as the sim insta goal in own net as well as wrong arch types procing at wrong times games busted..... saw one dudes playthrough the arena went dark and god spotlight floating with "xfactor goals" logo hovering over the ice... games washed... Then the Discord with nhl 24 logo still locked 750+ members waiting to tell of EA but nope
