EA doesn't understand that when you neglect defense, it makes offense worse too. The recent games have incentivized defenders to passively stand in front of the attacking players, without taking any risks such as going for poke checks or hits. As a result, you get a game where you can't beat defenders with skill or deception, since the defenders just passively skate to where you're going and wait for their player to automatically pick the puck up.

People, stop asking for things that aren't breaking the game! 1) Ping Disparity - Address the xbox vs. playstation difference alongside the general server ping benefit one team usually gets 2) Neutered Defense - Give us stick lifts back. I noticed they magically started working again, so obviously there is awareness of the issue. Let's keep it this way. As for hitting, I appreciate that it's harder to hit, but sometimes it's downright ridiculous. I mean just brushing off someone? 3) Randomly Generated Events - Take out cross-checking, broken glass, and any other that can't be addressed by skill 4) Performance - Take out the stupid crowd extras. Focus on performance over something no one cares about. And while you're at it, clean up the interface. We don't need stats on every screen at all times. 5) Dont allow for complex maneuvers to be a single button press. Some things are ok, but the lacrosse deke isn't.

unfortunately, they have no competitors, so they don't change the gameplay, but change it purely cosmetically, and sell it for 90 dollars, and think everyone around is an idiot, they didn't show the gameplay, and they already want pre-orders, only money comes first, and there has been no respect for many years for the fans of this game

I HOPE EA was trolling with that lealed trailer. Not as in it isn't real, but just that they will show something else now. It's unlikely the case, but the majority who's interested and ready to watch now have probably seen the leaked one already. Would be sooo refreshing to have a nice surprise and not just drop out the second we see it is the leaked one. 😌

Last year, they actually attempted to support the product for longer than a week after release. That was one step in the right direction. However, they had a whole year to fix the plague of hip-checking in CHEL and still couldn't do it. I'm spending my money elsewhere this year.
