If you can't find a def pairing for line 3 try to get it even.. check out what players have the matching def style of your new coach. Otherwise congrats on the season 7 (your favorite #)

TacTix you should do the line fit adapting option with each player during the season. I had my 1st line of Tage Thompson, Connor Bedard and Mitch Marner all adapt to fit on the 1st line for my coach's scheme and they all put up 140+ points after the season was done. However, you should only do it after the pre-season is done, or else it'll be too risky for to try to change their line fits, a.k.a. do it when the option says "convincing".

Specifically you should play 1 or 2 regular season games for best chance at this

39:25 Do not try to talk to them about scheme fit at the start of the season. It will always be very risky. You gotta wait until at least some time in, and they will be more likely, especially if they don't play all that well.
