I just had Claude Giroux play until he was 46 years old. I just made sure he was signed before the trade deadline, and then kept him in the lineup mostly on the third line. Was up at 84/85 overall until the last couple years where he dropped to 83, and then 80 overall. I think the hard cap at age is 45, but he had an early birthday or something? But definitely possible to keep an older player around, especially if you're winning.

Seen someone online talking about the pens rebuild after the 7-1 dallas loss. I told them until they trade Crosby and malkin they aren't in a rebuild. They could get 5 1sts for Crosby to Jumpstart a real rebuild

@tactixhd there seems to be a glitch on deadline acquired player after season ends it said 101 gp for ADB and 89 pts so not sure what it is calculating

You’re so cheap with the money you spend in free agency, why would you think kaprizov would accept your contract without even increasing it. As someone who’s been playing franchise mode for years you would think you would know the ai will offer him Atleast a mil more than he’s asking. Fat L and massive miss opportunity.

The contract bar was full. So at that point it came down to him liking another organization better. I could be wrong, but with new system once contract interest is max extra money doesn't matter
