Before this game came out, I had a dream I was playing Blades of Steel, but when you’d shoot the puck, it would go off the ground and it could even be shot or deflected out of play. That dream foreshadowed this game.

I can't remember if it was 94, 95 or 96 that my brother and I used to play, and we'd set the maximum time, and our goal was to knock out as many of each other's players as possible. It eventually got to the point where the replacement players didn't have names, only numbers. Those were the days. Much simpler times.

Oh I know I’m in the minority.just to me the Genesis version there were only like I swear 3 goalie animations and just pass the puck up the middle and bam 5 hole goal. SNES version had way more goalie animations and more ways to score if you were goalie. The graphics were def better for the Genesis version and sound.

Absolute blasphemy. You are in the severe minority. The only people who share your opinion are SNES fanboys. Everyone knows that Genesis dominated the sports titles. Especially EA sports. Every video game magazine out at the time rated the Genesis version of any EA sports game higher than its SNES counterpart. You definitely didn’t have a Sega because if you did you most certainly would not have made this ridiculous claim. I had both systems and every aspect of the Sega version crushes the super nintendo version. Wasn’t even close. Playing the SNES version (only rented out of curiosity)actually made the game suck once you knew how great it was on Genesis.

​@@ToddCrispiesSega CD sounded amazing, but SNES sounded much better than Genesis and had better graphics. It's not close. Genesis was faster and felt smoother though.

@@XtopherMartin dude its WELL KNOWN the Sega version is superior. If you believe the SNES version to be better than fine. Just know that every single review of the game was scored better for Sega.
