omg ok so this reminded me. I was doing this charity tourney last month and they had a photographer at the games. I got run into and the puck went in and the ref said it was a goal because it went in before the guy hit me. I was not mad because, as a ref myself, I thought they would only call that if they saw it happen for sure (that's what they teach us). WRONG. The photographer took 3 pics of me getting run and it shows the puck under my pad as he hits me and then it shows the puck in the net after we both go flying.... now I'm upset and have no one to yell at besides the youtube comments....we lost by one goal.. fuck. I need someone to agree with me and insult the refs and talk about their bad positioning please. thanks

While I do think goalies should get a penalty for tripping too, they have a lot less protection (against physical hits) than the other players, so I do get why you don’t get away with touching a goalie
