His basics look really good actually. Never flopped around when a puck was loose, always squared himself to the shooter/maintained perfect amount of distance, minimal movements on breaks within the crease/faceoff circles.

Pettersson didn't get a point this game but he was so valuable on the 2nd and 3rd goal. Not just for blocking the goalie's view but also causing that turnover at 3:22 that led to the JT Miller goal. Plus foiling that breakaway (4:00).

Absolutely. A player has a pass bounce off his ass to a goal scorer and he gets an ass-ist. There is certainly a case for Petterson (and any others) getting an assist for making a decisive hit or stick lift that makes a scoring play happen. Without Petterson's hit, Hughes wouldn't have had the open rush. Petterson's drive, to catch Stone on the shorthanded breakaway really showed that he is more than an offensive talent.

Wow, who would've thought the Canucks would win 4-0 after having a period almost 20 minutes with no shots!!! Their win is kinda amazing considering how sloppy they were in the first two periods: can't get it out of their zone, sloppy passes, etc. They were also 'saved' by the posts twice so they need to play better next game. No promises that the Knights will keep hitting the post. I'm trying to remember if the Canucks ever had it the other way around where they were constantly in the other team's zone. I can't really remember any.

I've watched a lot of playoff hockey and those 2 games by Demko were right up their with some of the best!! Kudos to the team defence for clearing most second and third opportunities out, but wow! That was just money goaltending . Funny thing is I thought markstrom has been pretty killer too! I'm starting to feel like I did for the 94 team. Love these guys. I hope they can keep this core together for some years!!!

Demko was another Patrick Roy in game 6, 1 amazing performance because shut out the Golden Knights that shot more than 45 times. The Canucks wanted 6 more, and they play vastly better than the Golden Knights. A great performance by the Canucks with a great game 6 statement 4-0 shutout win to force a game 7.

quality of play in NHL and NBA has been so good. I think the bubble has actually got a lot of guys dialed !! 😶 zone in 😳 see Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chris Paul talking last night about being eliminated and leaving the bubble? He almost looked sad at just the idea of ‘going home’ probably a combination of the bubble, isolation, COVID and protests, etc, but I think I the quarantine lifestyle has actually BENEFITTED the quality of play a lot of guys are just zoned in no fans no family no traffic no outside world just playoff sport 24/7 it’s like when you’ve been playing a video game for 20 hours - rest of the world ceases to exist 😂 you get so into it
